Gylden let uklar øl med grums flydende rundt. Duft Meget julekrydret: nillleker og appelsin. Smag: meget meget sød, stærk (sprittet) og ekstremt krydret. Eftersmag af eg og garvesyre. En del kulsyre.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a bit of sediment floating around under a thin bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit and alcohol and lesser notes of spices and some oxidation - even though it is wihtin the best before date. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit, cork (even though it is not corked), and alcohol, as well as medium notes of spices, leading to a dry fruity finish. One powerful beer - I wonder how it is very fresh, mine is I guess 1½ years old, yet within the best before date.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Citrus, sweetness, spice, fruits and yeast in the aroma. Flavour is quite wheaty. Banana, citrus, yeast, spice and fruits. Is medium bodied. Quite dry. Grapish and spiced in the end. Has a sweet alcoholwarmth. My belgian beer no. 700 and a quite good one in my book.

In short: A crappy beer with not redeeming qualities (winter 2007-2008 batch)
How: Bottle 330ml, winter 2007 batch. Drank when about 1 year of age.
The look: Cloudy dirty blonde body with lots of particles. Almost no head
In long: Gross nose of corn syrup, beans and alcohol. Taste is gross, gross, gross. Sickeningly sweet, condensed corn syrup, hint of spices. Dead syrupy body. I had a previous batch and it was enjoyable and totally different. This new 2007 batch is absolutely gross. A Christmas beer that you should offer to uncle Raymond during the holidays The uncle Raymond you cannot stand. And if not, drink it and the high abv it may help you to finally tell you uncle Raymond what you really think about his …

Robe blonde voilée surmontée d’une mousse blanche épaisse qui persiste. Arômes de liège, de CO2 et de malt. Saveurs de malt, de sucre, de liège, de levures et d’alcool.

bottled. Clear blonde with flat white head. Strong alcohol in the nose with vanilla and white chocolate. Taste of burning alcohol with peach, apricot and vanilla. The alcohol tastes a bit like gin - reminds of a brutal mixed cocktail. Too strong overall. There are beers out there that pull off a high abv without tasting like gasoline. But I’m not complaining at the moment as it’s maintaining my buzz and in true Noel form, it’s keeping me warm.
