yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 11, 2006 Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival. Unclear, orange-golden beer with an off-white head. Sweetness, spices, wheat and notes of alcohol in the aroma. The flavor has spices, alcohol and wheat. Fullbodied and sweet mouthfeel. The finish has alcohol, spices and sugar. A quite straight-forward beer, but it’s nice. /061028) joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 11, 2006 Bottle.
Clear golden coloured with a white ehad.
Aroma of fruits and spices.
Flavour of pepper, fruits, spices and yeast. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 4, 2006 Bottle. Golden colour with a tan head. Fruity light spicy aroma and a sweet yeasty, malty, spicy, fruity taste. Medium body with a very dry finish. oh6gdx (8798), Vasa, Finland Aug 12, 2006 Bottled. Hazy nutbrown colour with sediments floating around. Big white creamy head, which leaves lacing. Strong alcohol and sour apple in aroma. Almost like vodka mixed with sour applejuice. Flavour almost the same, but the yeast in it smoothens the sweet alcohol out a bit. Warming alcohol alone in finish though. Aftertaste becomes more to the sour appleish. Also some spices as it gets a bit warmer. Quite nicely balanced as for the flavour, but the aroma is not the best in my opinion. nicholai (101), Helsinki, Finland Jan 14, 2006 33 cl bottle @ Kaisla Christmas Menu. The smell is heady, sweet and alcohol with some phenols - almost like a very organic apple cider. Warming taste, evident alcohol, yeast, and something sweet and tannic. Highly recommended. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Jan 4, 2006 33 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Golden colour with big fluffy head. Aroma of yeast, spice and caramel. Nice sweet flavour of biscuit, spice, malt and ends up with a nice warm feeling from the alcohol. sayravai (3720), Helsinki, Finland Dec 9, 2005 (Bottled) Hazy yellow-golden color with a huge, firm and lacy, Duvelish head. Fruity, perfumy and yeasty aroma with berries, some alcohol and toffeeish sugar. Cloying sweet alcohol and toffee flavor with moderate yeastiness and hints of fruit. Medium-bodied, cloying palate with foamy but smooth carbonation. Who the heck has authorized brewing of such a cloying strong ale...? Bart (1625), Vosselaar, Belgium Dec 4, 2005 Yellow blond colour, small white head. Aroma is malty, some white chocolate. Smouth taste little bit bitter-sweet, yet strong. Finish is alcoholic with sweet hints; some bitterness. Balanced beer, I love this one.
