2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ungstrup (23960) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 21, 2007
Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a bit of sediment floating around under a thin bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit and alcohol and lesser notes of spices and some oxidation - even though it is wihtin the best before date. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit, cork (even though it is not corked), and alcohol, as well as medium notes of spices, leading to a dry fruity finish. One powerful beer - I wonder how it is very fresh, mine is I guess 1½ years old, yet within the best before date.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (22987) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Amber coloured with lots of impurities and a thick and solid head. Vinuos nose - almost like a dry white wine. Extremely potent, the alcohol is very prominent - almost like in a Danish strong lager, which is not really a recommandation. Spicy - like in cough syrup. Herbal notes - but basically just alcoholic. Bit of a disappointment from Caulier. 080702
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 yespr (22204) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2006
33 cL bottle. Pours with white head and very white/yellow, looks carbonated but taste does not show much sign of this. Smell is fruity and elements of yeast. Taste is full bodied with elements of sweetness, alcohol, wheat and fruits.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 oh6gdx (16047) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 12, 2006
Bottled. Hazy nutbrown colour with sediments floating around. Big white creamy head, which leaves lacing. Strong alcohol and sour apple in aroma. Almost like vodka mixed with sour applejuice. Flavour almost the same, but the yeast in it smoothens the sweet alcohol out a bit. Warming alcohol alone in finish though. Aftertaste becomes more to the sour appleish. Also some spices as it gets a bit warmer. Quite nicely balanced as for the flavour, but the aroma is not the best in my opinion.

Bottled. Pale orange, lively and cloudy. Strong aroma of peach, toffee and cheese crackers. Medium sweet. Fruity and yeasty with soft maltiness. Real corny and very tasty.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - NOV 16, 2002
Cloudy golden color. Some hop and malt in the aroma, candi sugar. Pretty sweet, malty, equilibrated in all, a background fruity note (banana...). Palate and hop are just right. Dangerous.
