UPDATED: JAN 8, 2011 Bottle 330ml. Exceptional. Aromas of butter, honey, citrus, pear, and alcohol. Taste is sweet and sour, with long length. Palate is silky, almost creamy, and full bodied. Blonde, with a frothy white head.

Bardzo smaczne, mętne z osadem drożdzożowym mocne belgijskie Ale. Wspaniała piana, mocna i utrzymująca się do końca konsumpcji. Wyraźnie aromat i smak winno-drożdżowy. Wyczuwalny aromat i smak alkocholu, lecz nie jest to dominująca cech tego wyśmienitego piwa

taste is bitter, just the same as the aroma / the body is full / citrus, is very pronounced / the bottle looks very well / taste is a little bit changed during the last years / not the beer for every one , only for real beertasters

33cl bottle. Pours a light, clear yellow with a big head that goes quick. Nose : Fresh floral notes. Honey. Little alcohol with a cherry hint. Yeast. Sip : Foamy but not mouthful. Light carbonation. Little sweet from acacia honey that transforms into sour yeast backing by sourness of cherry and apple. Nice balance. Interesting beer. Easy to drink since the alcohol taste is very low for 8%. The bottle is useful since it has a multiple usage closing head which is good news for amateur brewers ;)

This beer has the best Aroma imaginable. The appearance lived even up to that! But the rest is a bit disappointing. It was quite funny at the Restaurant ’Brasserie Degas’ in Copenhagen. The bottle maked a very loud ’BANG’ when it was being opened. Everybody was shocked. Ha. Quite bitter (too bitter) aftertaste.

Pours a hazy peach amber. Very fizzy at first with a good inch of white foam. The head reduces quickly to a thin ring and some residual bubbles. Light lacing. Sour lemon and honey in the aroma. Sweet bready malt with honey and yeast form the initial flavors. When I was a kid, one of my mother’s home remedies for a cold or sore throat was a cup of hot tea with honey, lemon, and a teaspoon of whiskey. The aftertaste of this beer reminds me of that, only I taste no tea. Medium body, dry aftertaste, with a touch of whiskey in the finish.

Strong taste and very cloudy gold color with nice white foam. Nice bitter taste and flavors of vanilla. Nice long blend of flavors. Excellent beer. I like the bottle, its original.

Citrus and spices aroma. Light amber colour, bit fuzy, nice white foam. Sweet, some spices, hops, full, bit creamy. Average long finish which is sweet and you get the spices again.

The beer pours a slightly hazy lemon yellow color with a grandiose head that is bright white in color, the texture frothy and as it slowly liquesces the lace forms a tight veil around the glass. The nose is lemon like with hints of banana, slightly sweet and sour, yeast also present with a bit of cloves a fine treat to the senses with the start ambrosial. Top is middling in its feel, the acidity meek, hops are unassuming in their presence, very dry and lingering aftertaste, a drinkable beer with the 8 percent ABV hidden well.
