Aroma: blueberry soup, some caramell sweetness Appearance: Reddish brown, average head retention Taste: blueberries, some acid and tannins, caramell, slight alcohol, cannot detect any hops, some unbalanced sweetness Palate: medium bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, Overall: Blueberries were shinging sprisingly well, it was a bit on a cloying side

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A brown opaque beer with light hues at the bottom of my glass ; huge pink head with a great retention ; good lacing. Aroma of blueberry, herbs. Medium sweet, light dry bitter ; refreshing ; sharp acid. Medium body, silky texture, good carbonation (not fizzy), sweet fruity finish, acid background. Overall, good refreshing fruity beer ; good balance ; nice texture.

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 26 Oct 2014) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with blueberries, caramel and dark fruit. Fruity, malty taste with notes of blueberries, dark fruit, caramel and a sweet finish with a fairly low bitterness. More than medium body, quite sweet. A bit weird, a touch too sweet with lots of blueberries. Still fairly tasty and quite enjoyable.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass (fuck yeah !). It’s a blueberry beer, and it’s good. Nothing more to say about it. Purists will say that beer don’t need stuff like that... gustibus et coloribus non est disputandum

Top-fermented fruit beer with blueberry juice. Loose, lilac, unstable head, colour a deep cherry red with purplish hue. Aroma strongly reminiscent of red berry jam, strawberries, raspberries, elderberries and all kinds of berries one can think of, also some caramelly malt, lemon, cinnamon and pepper. Fruity, lightly malty taste, citrus-peel acidity, strong and natural fruit taste, bit of herbal hops in the finish. I liked the strawberry version better.
