Good. Pub (4103), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Aug 11, 2007 Bottle conditioned, 330ml at Taverne de la Fermette, Rochehaut, Belgium. Clouded amber with white head. Heavily spiced beer, cloves, coriander etc, yeasty and sweet, with thankfully a late hop note to save the day. Finishes rich malts. Better the longer you leave it. The meal was great in this pub. JoeinUccle (689), Brussels, Belgium Aug 5, 2007 Hazy amber color with a disappearing white head. Aroma is interesting: nutty, yeasty, cidery and boozy. Flavor comes on too sweet and stays that way, alcohol too obvious, more nut and bread notes, wet and boozy finish. Dalle (1146), Viborg, Denmark Aug 16, 2005 Bottle, made for a hotel in Rochehaut. Cloudy amber with a huge head. Herbal and little medicinal belgian. Nice enough but I wont return.
