COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cute and cuddly, light and bubbly…but what’s in a name? A whole lot, in this case! This dish of a beer contains 8% organic Minnesota lake grown wild rice that lends a smooth finish and mounds of drinkability to this blonde ale. As light but complex as any blonde, this beer will make you order your first one for the name and then more thereafter for the taste. Blondes do have more fun, after all, and who doesn’t love them wild to boot?

Turbid gold pour - nose of lemon, lemongrass, wheat, light bready and yeast notes - flavor is medium sweet up front and medium sweet in the finish - notes of lemon, sweetbread, yeast - soft carbonation - light wheaty notes - a touch of peppery hops in the back on the tail end - there is a slight flaw in the form of a light celery/vegetable note on the tail end that fades as it warms - besides that fairly decent.

On tap at Caution! poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, honey and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, light citrus and a hint of earthiness with a crisp dry finish.

Taster at Brewers Rendezvous. Pours a thin white head, short retention, over a yellow (SRM 3) body....nose is light malts, with hints of grain.....taste is light grain.....mouth feel light, carbonation low. This is a light beer, with low complexity, which meets the style. BJCP 6/3/10/4/6

Pour on tap at the Denver Summer Brew Fest, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, some cooked corn and cabbage, slight vanilla, grass tones in there as well, but this is definitely got some major DMS. Taste is similar, corn, vegetable taste from the DMS, some slight biscuit, bread, and some vanilla, finishing fairly dry.

On tap during 2011 Great COntenders. Clear light gold, very sweet aroma of candy sugar, pale malt grains, and a bit of honey, with more pale malty gereal grains. Not a hint of bitterness on the nose, but the taste has a wee bit. Taste is mostly blonde malts with a touch of chili pepper--no heat, just that kind of flavor. Sweet overall with mostly blonde malts, slight bitter finish.
