2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 KeefOz (472) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - NOV 29, 2012
Poured a cloudy orange amber with a two-finger foamy head. Laced OK. Moderate carbonation. Aroma with hops slightly stronger than malt. Taste has good balance between hops and malt. Medium body. Moderately long smooth flavoursome bitter finish. On the bitter end of the Pale Ale spectrum.

On tap at Dejavu. Pours a light amber colour with a small head. The aroma is a mixture of passionfruit, pine, grapefruit and honey. Taste has hints of grapefruit and the balance of malts and hops comes into play. Very smooth and sessionable beer. This beer is very clean and easy drinking...will be on this baby in the summer time

Plenty of taste, nice on the nose, easy to drink, excellent for sessions and to enjoy. Very good pale ale.

My favourite of the cavalier range. A good Pale that is easily sessionable.

There’s a really nice balance between malt and hops in this beer - it’s a very clean, easy drinking beer that’s closer to an IPA than a pale ale in my books.
The aroma is a mixture of pine, grapefruit and honey with some very subtle bread late in the piece. On the tongue, there’s plenty going on with grapefruits spilling over the side, malt settling at the front and a little pine needles and spearmint travelling a good way down the throat.

Dark orange/amber in appearance, slightly cloudy, nice thin white head, tropical fruit aroma, nice maltiness, very sessionable.

A nice pale ale with a twist. The grapefruit flavour is nice and not overwhelming. The diversity of taste is great but a strangely enough a little blend in the end

Bottle. Hazy, slightly brownish amber pour with a short, lasting beige head. Aroma is hoppy but relatively mild and has notes of mango, grapefruit, orange, green apple and caramel. Flavour is very similar to the aroma but the fruitiness is more pronounced, leaning heavily on the citrus, and there is a slight mineral undertone. Mouthfeel is light and creamy with lively carbonation and a fresh hoppy, mildly bitter finish that lingers a little. Not the most typical example of the style but quite pleasant and highly sessionable.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Very zesty and citrus forward pale. Unusual. Works well and is enjoyable. Super sessionable. Nice

330mL bottle, pours a dark caramel colour with lasting head and an amazing sweet grapefruit aroma wow.. The grapefruit does come through to the flavour and a light bitterness that makes it so easy to drink. Carbonation is spot on and it has a medium body. I’m really impressed by the 2 cavalier beers i have but this beer is the stand out.. god i hope they do an IPA.
