2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 beerbill (2938) - Laurel, New York, USA - OCT 17, 2011
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a large linen white head and lots of fat carbonation bubbles rising to the surface. There is really very little aroma to speak of. Perhaps some extremely weak caramel and some equally weak floral hops and that’s about it. The flavor is bready malt and mild caramel. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Abrasive carbonation. Very forgettable.

Bottle thanks to jcwattsrugger. Pours mostly white foam with some cloudy gold beer at the bottom. Nose is fruity and yeasty with lots of lemon and orange zest. Taste is almost all bready malt with dry yeast and hint of citrus. Thinnish body.

Thanks to HikerCT for this bottle. Served in a tulip.
Pours a hazy golden color with a huge white head. Several fingers high with a ton of retention. The nose brings forward a light amount of caramel along with some bread. There’s a touch of floral hops there as well. The flavor is somewhat bitter along with some bready malt. There’s just a bit of light caramel there as well. Medium body with some sweetness and a bit of bitterness. Light carbonation. Not bad, but nothing great to speak of.

Deep gold pour, creamy white head. Light honey, very light hops, bready notes on the nose. Flavor is very crisp, lightly creamy has a nice bitter hop bite and a smooth caramelly malt to balance it. Not bad.

good blonde ale, not a style that gets too much credit, very light and refreshing with a little more body than going with a macro, bready malts, a little hop citrus flavor, good beer
