aroma is earth and chili and peas. vegetables.
flavor is very strong chili, floral hops and water. the chili flavor is absolutely dominating. flowery chili stuff. after pouring half the beer, the chili inside (large green fella’) popped audibly like another sausage and started spewing bubbles. i can’t wait to taste it.. lithy (1650), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Yellow with a white foam you would miss if you blinked. A small chili sits at the bottom. Aroma is pepperocini, chili heat, some standard corn lager behind that. Taste is more chili spice, pepper heat. Some corn behind all of that, not overwhelmingly hot. I like it, but I love pepperocinis. The pepper itself isn’t any good, too small, wouldn’t advise eating it. spiritsbeerman (47), Nicholasville, Kentucky, USA

Clear golden colour (well, with jalapeño floating in glass) with no head. Aroma is pure jalapeño, quite fresh and good. And the flavour is HOT. Can’t say anything about the flavour of the beer, the chili is so overwhelming. It’s definitely chili, but I’m not quite sure if it’s beer. Quite extordinary. One bottle is enough for the whole team. The pour was nice and the aroma had heat but not overwhelming.Thats the good part. The beer was pure heat.It burned my lips and singed the back of my throat.I would consider this a drain pour but we poured it in the chili and brought it up another notch. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Wow. So I finally get to try this madness...Aroma was heat and jalepeno...Flavor was pickled urine...Seriously. Like drinking the juice right out of the jar of jalepenoes...BUT...This beer is AWESOME to cook with. And I ended up throwing it in my chili...I rated it higher than most because it is exactly what it says it is...And even though I would not care to sit down and drink a six pack of it, I can certainly appreciate and would probably cook with it a lot...
