I guess I’m the only one who thought this was a good beer. I’m a huge fan of spicy food so my opinion might be a little biased. It’s got a spice to it but nothing too strong. You can feel the taste of the chili pepper afterwards. I like it.

Oh yeah! Nose is full of chili and other vegetal notes- I thought it smelled like asparagus. Pours piss golden like the color in the picture. Flavor is vegetal upfront, generic beery in the middle, and hot chili in the finish. It was bad, but not as bad as I thought. I think it was about a year past its pull date. Maybe this one improves with age...

Bottle - Clear, gold, with no head at all. Medium carbonation. Aroma and taste is dominated by chili with a faint hint of beer in the background. Medium hot and spicy finish. It’s a novelty I guess but I don’t want one ever again.

355ml bottle. Reluctanlty opened this brew, given that I am not a great lover of chili beers and this one had a chili in the bottom of the bottle. Pale and thin looking with minimal ghosty foam, one second it was there and then it was gone. Pepper and spice aroma was not unpleasant but it did sting the nostrils. The first sip has you questioning your sanity but the more you drink the tastier it becomes - maybe your tastebuds just get number the more you drink.

Sandstone from BeerAdvocate came up with this awesomeness at a tasting. Been looking forward to this for awhile. Thanks, Roger! Apparently he cellared this beer for over a year. I bet this ages very well. Pours a pale golden clear with minimal head. Very pale. Does not look good. Aroma is pickled jalapeno. Maybe some pale malt or adjunk in there, but mostly pepper. Flavor is also pickled jalapeno, very spicy, with corn and pale malt. The base beer is not very good. I also ate the pepper. Bad idea. Light on the palate with low carbonation and lasting heat. His is one of the spicier beers I’ve ever had. Sickening after awhile and not very drinkable, but not awful and pretty much accomplishes what it should. I don’t think it’s THAT terrible, but I can’t honestly say that it isn’t bad.

Bottle of unknown orgin - Thanks j12601! - Pours clear orange with a small head that quickly dissipates...aroma is like a dirty martini that has a jalapeno stuffed olive in it, light corn...flavour is sweet, far too sweet to be enjoyable...I actually would really enjoy this if it was not so corn malt forward...there is good chili taste and a lingering heat, some dirty grain mid palate...I would probably drink these every once in a while if not for the sugar...that might have gone a bit too far, but not the worst thing I’ve ever drank...

clear yellow, large white head that disappears very quickly. aroma is earth and chili and peas. vegetables. flavor is very strong chili, floral hops and water. the chili flavor is absolutely dominating. flowery chili stuff. after pouring half the beer, the chili inside (large green fella’) popped audibly like another sausage and started spewing bubbles. i can’t wait to taste it..

Yellow with a white foam you would miss if you blinked. A small chili sits at the bottom. Aroma is pepperocini, chili heat, some standard corn lager behind that. Taste is more chili spice, pepper heat. Some corn behind all of that, not overwhelmingly hot. I like it, but I love pepperocinis. The pepper itself isn’t any good, too small, wouldn’t advise eating it.
