Thought long and hard about which beer to make my 2000th. After tasting some extraordinary beers over the years I settled for this one. Seems fitting as if to turn the nose up to beers I know would be great and take a stab at this shocker instead.
Chilled to within an inch of freezing. Some noise as the cap came but then sits lifeless in the glass. Medium gold, bright and with just a few stray bubbles here and there. The chilli floating in place of its missing crown. Souring spice of jalapeno on the nose, vegetal with a boiled capsicum, apple and oddly tomato skin edge. Taste of boiled jalapeno liquor, softly but lastingly burning on its exit. Watery thin with just a little spritz that sees the pepper tingle at my lips. Why to get the sudden urge to eat tortilla’s? Sour and sharp the pepper is all consuming so they could have brewed this one out of cattle faeces and it wouldn’t have made an entry. Now I knew it would be bad but there is little adjuncts to speak of, no DMS in flavour, no diacetyl or acetaldehyde on the palate so I can honestly say I’ve tried worse. Though that aroma’s a shocker. And number two thousand is out the way!!! (33cL, 4.2% ABV, BB 11/11/13, Mane Liquor, Belmont)

Aroma is strong hot pepper! Pours a clear yellow with a mostly diminishing white head and no lacing. The taste is much like the nose - peppery. Medium body with medium carbonation. While I'm not a big fan of peppery beers, I enjoyed this one - warm all the way through. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice novelty....aroma was lacking, and there was no head when poured. Very clear and light looking in appearance and flavor. Was a slight bight from the chili however that was pleasant. But not much of a beer.

Ciężkie do wypicia ze względu na przyprawy i palącą ostrość papryczki. Dodana do butelki dodała sądzę aromatu, ale i tak zastosowana do produkcji ostra papryka daje się mocno we znaki podczas picia. Ja wykonałem kilka niewielkich łyków i już piekło w gardle. Ledwo do połowy wypiłem i resztę musiałem wylać. Piany nie ma wogóle podczas nalewania.

I Drank this one (or tried) with a bowl of chili. I would like to cool the chili off with a good beer not heat it up more. This poured clean and clear with a head that went away in 3.5 seconds it was a race to where I would put the bottle down on the counter or the head would dissipate. smell of chili’s and spice. taste was sharp and burned from the chili. I could not do this one it went down the drain. All the coffee stouts got a boost up with me on this one it was the most intentional bad beer beer that I have ever had!

Bottle at Tröls. Pours like an average lager. Aroma has pickled jalapenos, bell pepper and some sweet notes, Taste is like your average lager and then the chili kicks in. Thing body, mouth feel is...hot I don’t know...this is not a good beer and the only good thing about it is the chili.

This is a lager with a chili pepper in the bottle, the taste is strong chili, hot and nacho like, the lager taste is overpowered by the chili

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2013 Bottle: Golden, hazy, no head, nothing but chili and gherkins in the nose, beery flavours hardly detectable; very hot flavour, bitter-sweet aromas not detectable, presumably light bodied; first slightly beery, but very quickly only hot finish. Wow, what a luck! At last I sampled one of the worst beers…

The anitial taste of the beer is much like a budweiser; nothing special. However, the chili adds a pleasuring kick/spice to the beer that I enjoyed. The aroma of the beer is much the same. This would good beer on a cold day with a bowl of chili. Or if you want a spiced up budweiser.

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Light haze on this pale gold beer, little white head. Light palate, crisp and dry. Raw massive chilli pepper. Huge chilli heat. Maybe a trace of citrus but by this point I really don’t care. Unremittingly shit!
