2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
In short: A bland biscuity blonde ale.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a very small white head
In long: Timid nose of cereals. Taste is honeyed biscuity malts. No fruity flavors of any kind, no hops presence, no bitterness or dryness. Just honeyed biscuity malts. The beer is clean and not offensive. But it is also boring and not refreshing. We were off to a bad start and we drove a long way to get this pub lost in the mountains. How far is this pub? You know those orange cones they put on the roads for you to knock down. I beat my personal high score driving to this brewpub.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at brewpub. Served flat. Not blonde. Yeast ridden and seriously cloudy. WTF. Body is light plus and watery at finish. A mere spattering of lace on the far side of glass. Lame. Light elongated aftertaste. Boo.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light caramel yellow thin white head. Light hops, biscuit, grain. Medium, light grain, but nothing overbearing. Biscuity, with a light bitter finish.
