Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’14. Gold with white head. This had quite a medicinal note at the start, linctus cough medicine, not sure whr=ere that came from. There was a dry bittering but the Citra hops struggled to come through. Disappointing given the previous ratings.

Gravity, Coventry Beer Festival, 27/04/13. Lean pale gold loosely crowned with bubbles. Nose bursting with the pleasures of the hop; cat pee, lime zest, blackcurrant and passion fruit. Deeply tropical Citra flavour full of passion fruit and guava. Slight husky tail. Outstanding, pungent- in The Kernel ballpark.

Cask conditioned handpump Old Fountain London 19/03/13. A golden beer with a white head and lace. Great mango citra hopping throughout. Nicely balanced malts give body and just the right sticky sweetness. Citrus flavours are good. Tasty. Nice hops.

Cask, Derby Winter Fest 13. Pale yellow gold with a white foam. Aromas are light lemon with peanuts and pink grapefruit. Woody with yeast and soft spices. Flavours are grain with clean lemon and yeast. Grapefruit juice with hints of pineapple. Good stuff.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Brixton, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Hoppy, citrus aroma. This ale was in excellent condition, tasted hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Would make a great session ale, nice one.

Cask at the Craft. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is a little dry and slightly soft. Mild hop skunk. Decent tangerine - lemon citrus with a little grapefruit. Finishes dry but with juicy citrus. Easy supping fresh ale - just a tad too dry.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 12th September 2012. Gold with thin white film and initial lace. Hoppy and mildly spicy aroma. Grass and grapefruit citrus in-mouth; bitterness develops in finish whilst grapefruit lingers. Although rather on the ’thin’ side for a 4.1 it is nevertheless pleasantly refreshing, with a light body and mouthfeel.

Cask handpull at George and Dragon Swanscombe. Hazy bright gold colour lasting white head. Cracking condition. Citra hops all over the aroma and flavour. Really good pale ale.
