4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
My dear beer lovers, let me tell you this beer is one of the best tasting beers I had the pleasure to enjoy!
Not only the taste can compete with the fines beers arround the world, it is also ALL NATURAL with NO preservatives whats so ever! It is so "clean" that I do not get a hang over even after (somtimes) too many beers! You have to taste the beer, I LOVE IT!
A true Bavarian beer lover!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fine strong old world aroma presenting with the hallertau hops and then finishes with a seeming sweetness. A golden-amber appearance and a bloom that holds well, it is a great fit for the climes of the Caribbean!

Tap at a tiki bar at Georgetown, Cayman Islands right on the port-pours lite orange/dark yellow with a small fizzy white head with some lacing. nose is of a european lager beer-lite skunk, metallic notes and mineral aspects. however, its actually quite pleasant on this tropical oasis. flavors are lite minerals, skunky yeast and husky malt flavors with a lot of sweetness. not much adjunct flavors which made this quite refreshing. has quite a bit of spicy hops to balance out the dryness. a very nice beer for a tropical island!

Was given a bottle of caybrew by a good friend that lives part time in the Cayman Islands and was thoughtful enough to bring a few back to USA.Super clean fresh taste .This is a brand new rebuilt brewery and from the taste they went top shelf.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
2013-12-19. Pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is lightly floral over sweetish malt. Flavour is mildly bitter, more so than the White Tip. Sweetish pale malt is less cereally than some of the others. Average bodied palate, nice carbonation. On tap at the brewery, Grand Cayman

Pours yellow/gold with a nice white head. Smells of dry malt, some touches of pepper, earthy. Tastes watery with some dry crisp malt, touches of bitterness and a peppery spicy finish. Not bad.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear watery gold with full yet loose white head. The aroma puts out mostly floral hops as well as some spice hops, grains and sugary sweetness. Half way through drinking the beer the aroma was just about gone. Don’t know where it went. The taste bites first with floral hops and sweet yet watery sugary malts then moves into a bit of grains by midway. The spicy hops pick up and join the floral hops into the finish. It seems to try to become overly sweet with additional consumption but somehow remains in check. I can see drinking this on a hot day in the islands.

First stop on my recent cruise was Georgetown Grand Cayman where I had the opportunity to sample a few bottles of Caybrew while waiting for the line to the tender to go down. Served in a green bottle at Margaritaville by a waitress who seemed put out when I asked for a glass.
Pours a fizzy yellow bordering on gold with a good sized fluffy white head that dissipates quickly.
Smells of light grains a hint of corn and a slight floral hop note if I think about it real hard.
Taste is light and refreshing and hits the spot on this 90+ degree day. Light sweet malt with a hint of floral hops and a hint of skunk. Reminds me a lot of Heineken or what I remember of Heineken.
Light body, crisp carbonation, watery mouthfeel. Light and refreshing on a warm day but little in the way of flavor for my wrecked palette.
