Cask, at Newark Beer Festival, May 2004. A pale amber coloured basic bitter. A touch of dry malt and a pinch of tangy hop. Not a lot else to say really. Light bodied, easy drinking and unspectacular. OK for a session but doesn’t really make much impression next to a lot of other beers at a festival.

Cask Stillage at Riverside Park, Newark 28/05/2005 Golden amber coloured with a slightly hazy appearance. Some acidic taste. Finishes crisp on the palate.
