Cask (GBBF2011, Friday)
Sweet malts, and a touch of fruitiness on the nose. Taste follows that, but has more grain, and even some ginger. Hoppy tingle is nice, leaving quite a long finish.

Cask, handpump, at Nottingham Beer Festival ’07. Orange gold with a white head. Curious coffee aroma. Sour fruity aroma. Low bitterness. Unappealing. The lady who served us tried hard to convince us it was very good. But it wasn’t really.
