"A true seasonal beer, as refreshing as it should be! Taste it in the summer, sitting at a terrace table … " Originally, season beer was a beer brewed before the summer and intended for summer-season farmhands. It had low alcohol content and a marked bitterness that made it really refreshing. We wanted to offer a truly seasonal Season with production limited in time. As Laurent Agache’s

Light and tasty. I really dig these lower ABV saisons, and this one had a good mix of floral notes and herbal notes. The second pour yields a little bit more yeast, and the flavor is a little bit fruitier. Good stuff.

Draught at  Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Rocky iceberg head on a bright gold beer. Citric, lactic, sourish nose, with yogurt, lemon, spice. Dry, dusty flavor of old lemons. Bitter, spur, and dry. Why? Bretty. Interesting but somehow strange.

A light straw-colored pour. Huge white head, with a mixture of small and very large bubbles. Plenty of ringing lacing as the head slowly fades. Big floral bouquet. Mix that with malt and wheat and you have a decent aroma. There is also some hop and citrus notes in the bag. Sweet and very spicy taste. Almost like pepper and flowers mixed together. An herbal taste as well. A carbonic aftertaste, and a slight bitterness. Very good for a flower infused beer.

From notes. Had a sort of off flavor that seemed rubbery. This hurt the beer quite a bit, and I think it was from the elderflowers not quite working with the hops well. A bit too yeasty in the finish. Kind of a musty grain flavor but not bad, really. Some funk.

Splendida saison che bevuta d’estate in una sera calda è proprio come il cacio sui maccheroni, molto floreale e anche di carattere al palato.

Bottle: Medium vast white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell hops, flowers, hop flowers, fruit, citrus, peach, abricot, (slight hints of dust and plastic) all nice and medium present. Taste hops, flowers, grains, citrus, light fruity, bitter and some slight hints of sweets, malts, and herbs/spices. Nice fruity bitter aftertaste. Medium carbo, soft light tingly light creamy mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture.

Yellow orange color, hazy. Thick head. Very mild smell. Taste is hoppy, like this would be a IPA. Aromas is mostly floral and tiny bit sour. This & a sunny summer day is a perfect mix.

On tap. This saison left me a very good memory. The alcohol was not noticeable to me also due to its low gradation. Both hoppy and with a bitter-dry finish. It also has a good floral aroma. Very good.
