3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. This saison left me a very good memory. The alcohol was not noticeable to me also due to its low gradation. Both hoppy and with a bitter-dry finish. It also has a good floral aroma. Very good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
5/25/11. 750mL bottle thanks to scotchzi! Cloudy yellow pour with a small fizzy white head. Bitter, floral, and... weird aroma in general. Strange floral flavor like licking a flower petal covered in beer. A bit strange.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale golden straw pour. The aroma is lightly floral and a little bit corky as well. Light herbal bitterness. A lot going on in here. Light herbal bitterness and a bright floral character. Sort of briny and minerally with a dank basementy aroma/flavour. A little bit of phenolic smokiness that seems to fade as it warms up. Dry palate and quite herbal. Nicely floral and a little bit zesty as well. Black pepper and a lean dry palate. Soft and quite lovely - especially as it starts to warm up. Very unique brew - it’s unusual but it works.

Beautiful bottle from the Spuyten Duyvil bottle store in Brooklyn. Pours hazy bright, light yellow with fizzy white head. Nose has nice floral kick and grassy hops. Taste adds a mild sweetness of honey and a delicate bitterness. Notes of chamomile. Lovely.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2011-04-17. Dark pastel yellow , nice foamy off-white head. 4+ Nice grassy character up front in the aroma, muted sweet malt, brief not of urea is blessedly quick, light floral notes - quite complex. 7+ Flavour is floral, grassy hops, sweet pale malt, hints at lemon/lemongrass, decent amount of bitterness, lingering grass and floral character in the aftertaste. 7+ Smooth average to light palate suits the beer. The flavour is a bit perplexing up front and takes a while to stabilize but by the end of the glass I found this to be rather nice. Bottle shared by JoeMcPhee

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 4, 2014 Pours a very slightly hazed golden yellow, pillowy white head lasts throughout, great lace, just perfect. Aroma is lightly floral and faintly sour. Flavor is lemon, grain, and faint funk over slight flowers. The funk at first is a bit off-putting, which is unusual for me, but as it warms, it starts to work with the rest of the beer. Very faint lingering bitterness. Ultimately I decided I rather liked this. Always good to try a solid example of one of my favorite styles. RERATE with a bottle I have held for about 6 months. Bumped up the score to make it an even 4. Same funk as the first bottle when first poured, but it seems to have mellowed. As it warmed, everything moved into an exceptionally balanced beer with a distinct floral note. Really quite nice. RERATE from a draft sample. Comments are similar, but there was no funk present. Almost like a wit in some ways. Numbers stayed the same.
