Light musky aroma, wheat, Belgian yeast, ale profile. Cloudy amber with thin white lacing head. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice yeasty fruity start, tripel profile. Bubblegum esters, alcohol. Mild sweet finish and after, a little chalky. Eyedrinkale (3102), Beer Town, New York, USA Jun 20, 2005 Thanks to Hopdog for sharing this rare gem. Amber/orange colro with a small head. The aroma is dusty fruits, bananas, oranges and barnyrad dominate. The taste is super smooth with more flavors of wood, vanilla, candi sugar and tree bark. Quite unique stuff. Peppery and lively. Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 12, 2006 Generous white head with belgian rockiness slowly becomes a memory while the fiery bubbly hazy golden foundation displays a maximum of activity. Exotic juicy fruitiness appear in a wheaty, yeasty nose. Summer-like nature. This is how I like my pilsner malts extracted, letting bright, farmhouse crisp natural nature come through while maintaining a thin, yet almost chewy toastiness that avoids sweetness or overly simplistic cerealic affairs. A deliciously polished, light and lively ale. Excellent cleansing carbonation is engaging and natural. Hugely drinkable. Delicate noble hops add some pleasure toward the end through both a mild citrusy bite and a gently herbal, floral bright aroma range. Yummy! Walt (2268), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 28, 2005 Pour is rich reddish golden with a thin off white head...smell is floral and yeasty...vanilla, pepper, cloves...taste is spicy, sweet, vanilla, clove, pepper...rich reamy moutfeel...this is nice... mkobes (2023), New York, USA Jun 19, 2005 Bottle courtesy of Hopdog at Egajdzis tripel fest.
