3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. A fine, fine stout indeed: velvety foam, terrific smooth body and a delicate oat-ish character. One of my favorite stouts, good to drink at all times, even non-fans of the genre are impressed.

The taste is bitter-sweet, red fruits, earth, toast, mild sweetness, ash and light peppery action. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit old and musty on the nose, but tastes ok.

Belle mousse, couleur bien noire. Goût amère mais un peu léger, se rapproche plus du porter. On sent l’alcool en arrière goût. Bière bien lourde
