COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blond IPA beer with 9% alcohol brewed with Pilsen barley malt and 4 hops, with a dry hopping during maturaton. Tournay triple is a particularly hoppy beer leaving a white wine taste at the back of the mouth. We recommend you drink Tournay Triple with seafood or strong cheese.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE Feb 2016, courtesy of FatPhil, 20141122) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had black pepper, mustard and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, black pepper, mustard, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, sweet and bitter. A weird but good strong Belgian ale.

’Modern’, i.e. extra hoppy and IPA-like Belgian tripel, orange blond with off-white head and rich aroma, perfumed with citrussy hops and elegant yeasty spiciness as well as vivid fruitiness. Tastes sweetish and citrussy in onset, very refreshing, then complex yeasty spicy notes on a mellow, agreeable malty backbone and finishing in an earthy and refreshingly citrussy, peppery hop bitterness, lasting long and nicely accompanied with a warming, brandy-like but gentle alcohol effect. Delicious.

Bottle, Bier Circus, Brussels. A full- bodied strong dry hopped Belgian ale. Quite complex, leaving very long bitter palate. Markets itself as an IPA, but the style does not quite correspond. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours hazy almost medium dark golden with a creamy and frothy off-white head, good retention and nice lacing. honey sweetness, candi, caramel and sweetish lightly toasted malts, spicy apple juice, toffee, peppery booze, woodsy vanilla, belgian yeast, grassy nobleness, disturbing artificial maple syrup - slightly perfumey. lively carbonation, medium body - oily, boozy and grassy-spicy finish. authentic and decent tripel. but that’s about it.

Visual: Heavy duty beer bottle. Pours almost clear golden yellow with a humungous lasting foamy head, lots of sticky lacing, tons of activity. Nose: Floral chamomile honeyed malts, medium bright. (lvl-6)-pungency. Attack: alcoholic bitterness, cream-fizzy mouthfeel, Mid-palate: tangy-bubbly (MAIN) chamomile, pine, honey, malts, citrus Finish: soft bitter grapefruit hops, lingering bitter hopped/alcoholic finish. Summary: Lots of fizz, pine, chamomile-floral, and alcohol bitterness. Quite heavy on the palate and tough to finish a 75cl bottle alone.

Sample @ZBF’14 Goldblond, hazy, small head. Aroma is citrus, hoppy, mango. Aroma was better than the taste. Something bitter, sweet, something off. Dry finish, bit citrus
