Rune (1500), Tromsø, Norway Jan 20, 2008 330ml bottle from Centra Colosseum, Oslo. Reddish-brown body supported by an off-white foamy head. Dark malty aroma. Flavour of light roasted chocolate malts with moderate sweetness. A welcoming bitter touch towards the end (Oslo, 17.01.2008). Ole_R (1127), Oslo, Norway Nov 17, 2007 330 ml bottle. Average beige head. Clear chestnut colored body. Low aroma level, light sweet dark malts and earthy hops. Fairly dry malty and bitter-sweet taste with some roast and cardboard notes. Light-bodied. Quite unfresh mouthfeel. Short, dry and light bitter end. Mediocre. Gr0ve (1083), Oslo, Norway Nov 10, 2007 330 ml bottle. Dark brown colour. Clear. Throws a tall light beige head. Crisp lager-like aroma with some grassy hops. Hints of cocao. Light-bodied. Sharp hop bitterness, mostly of noble character. Some chocolate-like flavours. Decent dunkel. Quite nice flavours for a beer this light in alcohol, but I would think that it’d do much better with lots of alcohol. Will have to try their stronger version soon. Beer_2000 (1121), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 16, 2007 330 ml bottle. Dark reddish body with a rather small beige head. Moderate, slightly roasted malt aroma. Flavor is very plane caramel, slightly roasted malt and very little bitterness. Decent as a dark lager but no Christmas feeling here. Enjoyit (1075), Vadum, Denmark May 7, 2007 Brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of malt and caramel, notes of metal. A flavor of malt, syrup and toffee.
