3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap, brewery. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a small fizzy beige head. Nose is tropical and citrusy hops with some light toasty and caramel malt. The flavor is a bit leafy and green with some moderate caramel malt. Medium bodied, a bit clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Ok stuff.

22oz bottle. Deep amber color, rocky foam. Floral nose, nice hops. Smells of citrus & pine hops; sweet caramel malt, some toast.
Tastes of sweet malts, some cotton candy, bitter hops, pine bark, bitter citrus peel oil. Very well balanced. One of my favorite American IPAs.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a hazy golden orange from the bottle with little to no head or lacing. Aroma is resinous citrus hops, heavy caramel malt, and a hint of booze. Taste follows, really make forward, and kind of sweet, but not bad. Carbonation is lacking, but nice attempt.

Thanks jbruner! Hazy deep golden pour with a thin small head. Sugary, sweet caramel malt with a slight tinge of pine hops. Flavor is the same with no body and a hint of a bitter finish. Nope.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Pours a hazy light amber with a frothy off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, and pine hops. A lot of sweet malts, caramel, and hints of bread up front. Followed by pine and resin hops. Hints of citrus. Medium bodied. Has a bit of a metallic after taste. A bit too sweet and malty to me for an IPA. But enjoyable nonetheless.

2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
AROMA: The bitter-sweet scent of hops will linger on your toung as you inhale. The 888 gives one a very bitter impression, that shant leave you dissapointed.
APPEARANCE: This brew illuminates with a rusty brown and gold. The color is bold, and the head is smooth. An, almost, picture perfect pour!
TASTE/PALATE: The piney-sweet flavor of Centennial and Columbos hops will tease the tip of the tounge as an intense bitterness quickly comes in and blankets the whole mouth. Earthy overtones appear at the end, leaving you fully satisfied. The bitterness, however, begins to take over less then half way through this brew, leaving the piney-sweet notes in the begining of this peice, never to D.S. al coda.
OVERALL: To put it simply... This is a hop-heads dream brew. A perfect example of a truely bitter beer. If you’re new to craft, this would be a fine addition to a beer flight. If you’re a seasoned pro, kick back with a pint and enjoy the good stuff!
