3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dimenhetfield (1731) - , USA - DEC 3, 2011
Bottle shared by....I can’t recall. I’m not even sure this is the right beer but I know it was an IPA and it was fresh, so I’m assuming it’s this one. Nice hoppy aroma with floral hints. Malty flavor with earthy tones. Easy to drink
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 nick76 (3583) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 19, 2012
The aroma is very malty with caramel, grains, and citrus hops. The appearance is amber gold with a small head. The taste is bitter and like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall interesting but not an instant classic.

Dark orange brown pour with a thin soapy head. Light citrus and caramel malt aroma. Strong malt body with big caramel and a vegetal hop bitterness. Yech.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DrSilverworm (1032) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 27, 2012
22oz bottle purchased while in FL for my 2012 spring break, enjoyed back in Ohio the following week. Half-hazy sort of pale amber color. Very minimal head. Second pour has a slight bit more head, with a beige color. Some lace, even (appearance score moved up from 2 to 3 after 2nd pour). With no date on this (that I noticed), who knows how fresh this is. Tasted like I feared it would: Heavily on the malty-sweet side, with a medicinal bitter taste. Mostly caramel syrupy aroma, light musty resiny hop taste. Light carbonation, unpleasant flavor is dragged out in the long aftertaste. Still manages to be drinkable, almost.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 hopscotch (7526) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Draft… Lightly hazy amber ale with an orange sparkle and a mid-sized, delicate, off-white head. Good retention. Loads of lace are left on the glass. The nose is a touch medicinal and grainy. Also, earthy, woody, sprucey, peach pulp hops play fairly nicely with a less substantial note of biscuit malt. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Flavor-wise, biscuit and crystal malts provide a solid foundation for the medium to heavily bitter hops to do their thing - and they do shine brightly. Finishes bittersweet (more bitter than sweet) with persistent, lasting, tannic bitterness.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 smith4498 (2306) - Miami, Florida, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Pours light copper color with minimal head. Sweet Brady aroma with some citrus. Sweet caramel flavor withsome grapefruit with moderate bitterness. Medium body with minimal carbonation. Not sure how fresh this bottle is, but it just arrives at total wine a couple week age.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 drowland (3891) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 29, 2012
2/29/12. 22oz bottle bomber. Plain clear amber pour with a small, loose khaki head that’s gone to a ring fast and barely laces. Very plain sweet, malty, caramelly aroma with lingering molasses. Very sweet caramel flavor with... more caramel... and more sweetness... maybe just a touch of citrus. This is not very good, and should probably be listed as a double IPA? I wish I could try this on tap fresh at the source and maybe it would be better. Meh.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 burg326 (1076) - Florida, USA - JAN 22, 2012
22 ounce bottle from ABC Liquors, pours a dark cloudy amber color, with aromas of malt, very little hops, and a ton of pine resin. Flavor is more malt than bitter hopiness, some pine, very little grapefruit flavor.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 PorterPounder (4108) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 22 oz bottle. Pours a pretty much lifeless slightly murky medium orange pour with an oh-so brief off-white head. Aroma is pure homebrew crystal malt with a slight hint of spruce. Flavor is cloying and sweet. More malty than hoppy. Some brief citrus grapefruit notes, a bit of maple syrup. Stays on the tongue too long. Others from these folks have been much better.
