tap at CBBC. Golden pour. thin white head. Aroma has a nice cool refreshing grain nose to it. Distant lime. Creamy texture. Too much lime may have been a bit much. Chris nailed it. Nice malt backbone, fruit juice, and sharp spicy hops. Just the slightest tingle of black pepper in there as well. I loved it. If I didn’t have to be other places, I’d drink this beer all day long. I almost did!

On tap at CBBC, very nice aroma of lime, almost margarita like. Smooth lime bitterness strikes the tongue on a smooth drinkable malt base, medium bodied, but a perfect summer beer that drinks well. Creamy and sweet balance it out, leaves you a bit parched wanting more. Wish I could have taken a growler home...

Draft… Hazy straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is discreet, but like the regular Lime Cerveza, I am able to pull some mashy, grainy notes from the glass. The key lime is there, but just barely. I’m a big fan of key lime. Light to medium-bodied and mildly creamy with gentle carbonation. The flavor is refreshing, fruity and well-bittered with a whisper of key lime acidity. The finish is lightly tart.

Draft… Hazy straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The nose is subtle, but I am able to pull some mashy, grainy notes from the glass. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with gentle carbonation. The flavor is all juicy fruit and hops, malt and a smidge of lime. A touch tangy with a gentle sorghum note. The finish is tangy as well. For the most part, I hate lime, but its essence is used sparingly and appropriately in this example.

nose is a nice balance of lime and yeast. very cloudy lemon yellow appearance. flavor is of lime but almost becomes a salty, savory mix with a touch of toffee malt. the grain bill and unfiltered body make this easily discardable style redeemable.
