Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Plovmand. Pours a hazy golden with a very lively white head. Discreet citrusy nose with quite some yeast - and soap. Medium body, sweet fruits, yeast and phenols with an excessive carbonation. Some late bitterness. 160612

Bottle@Laser Wolf. Hazy, amber and looks a little flat. The aroma is fairly toasty w light hop fruitiness. Light body is soft and a bit sweet, not much hop but decent balance. I like the malta but a different hop mix would make for a brighter, livelier beer.

Bomber at Laser Wolf. Nice rich copper orange. Aroma is all about the toasty malts and is a bit on the dull side. Smooth, easy palate with light carbo. The flavors are better than the aromas, as the malts unfold and are balanced by late, crisp, balancing hops. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

5/19/12. Clear golden pour with a small off-white head. Sour buttery aroma with touches of malt and hop. Similar slightly malty flavor with a hint of tart hops and again a bit of butter. Eh.

Bomber from Liz. Pours clear light amber with a bubbly white head. Aroma is mildly roast malt. Hop is evasive. Near med body. Flavor suggests bubble gum. Also lighter pitted fruits. It’s very pleasant. Seems balanced. The hop is just not NW heavy. Very pleasant to drink.

Appearance: massive head resembles a freshly risen and baked loaf of homemade bread. Under this massive bready cover lies freshly picked oranges – brilliant yet translucent at the same time. Swirls with clumpy blotchy patches of bready fluff.
Nose: on the mild unassuming side. Deeper sniffing uncovers soft baked breads with a touch of sweetness, like Hawaiian rolls. Apricot and mandarin weave in and out. Orange cream in the back along with a touch of banana cream. Freshly squeezed generic tropical esters. Chewy.
Palate: bready and sweet. In a good way, I chew as much as I quaff my way through this dense pale ale. Flowers, crisp baled straw and dried grass in the back refreshes and makes way for more. Grapefruit and orange pith lead the finish. Fresh pulpy sweet mandarin, mango, guava, and papaya – flesh first then it’s all about the skin. Sweet bread laced with fresh orange essence holds everything together.
Final Thoughts: a beach, boat, river, hammock worthy Pale Ale. Located close to the beach, it’s no surprise that I have visions of my toes wriggling in warm sand soft as silk, a slight breeze keeping the temperature just right. A few years ago Florida was a beer wasteland, but no more thanks to such entrepreneurs as Cocoa Beach Brewing.
