2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Smoke aroma...? Strange. White wine as well. Pale ale colour. Not as dry as I tought, a dry rubber taste and a long finish.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
75 cl bottle supplied by lumpy shows 5% on the bottle. pours gold with a bit of froth after the loud pop of the cork coming out then settled into a bit of rising bubbles on the side of my glass. the aroma is apples of course. with something like modeling glue and a bit of band aid but over all it smeels good, mainly sweet apples. sweet apple taste that finishes with a touch of sour dryness. nothing sticks out in this. i like the carbonation level, it bites just a bit. very easy to drink.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. My bottle was 5.0% ABV. Clear golden colour with no head, but plenty of carbonation evident. Uncomplicated pur apple juice cider. A little too fizzy in the mouth and it would be better if it was sourer. Some dryness on end. Refreshing and drinkable. Sweeter than I had anticipated in the mouth

75cl corked bottle which wetherspoons were selling in thier autumn beer fest. Aroma is minimal but what is there is sweetish apples. Taste is also sweet apples, a bit unrifined maybe, but still very drinkable as i found out on my decent leaving do from work.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Average cider appearance. Bad cider-vinegar and chemical smell. Cider-vinegar taste at first, changing to sweet and overly acidic. Dry, with nice carbonation, but leaving some bad aftertastes. This stuff is pretty cheap and probably the worst of the dozen or so ciders that I tried during my three-week journey in France.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Golden colour, fizzy head. Apple peel and fir needle aroma. Acidic, slightly yeasty, woody, corky taste. Slightly sweet ending in a medium tart, woody finish. Not my kind of cider, especially not the corkiness.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle - Sour apple and chemical aroma. Dark yellow color. Sour apple chemical taste as well. Really awful - cannot even come close to even the most basic English cider.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottled. A sweet apply smell with perhaps a hint of brandy to this golden orange coloured, very fizzy cider. The taste is sweet nasty young and immature. The only cider I drank on this trip to France, and what a bummer!

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pale golden fizzed cidre, no head. Faint apple quality in a watery base, weak and quite poor. Solt through the Beer warehouses the Brits converge on.
