COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The ECUSSON bottled cider originates in the hearth of gastronomic Normandy. This cider owes its quality and its exclusive character to the blending of varieties of cider fruits reputable for their aromas combined with the know-how and the cider tradition of ECUSSON. The gustatory qualities specific to the cider fruits of Normandy contribute to its roundness and length in the mouth personalized by a touch of bitterness which make of this cider a typical bottled cider of the Norman soil.

75cl bottle. Golden with no head and plenty of carbonation. Aromas are sweet apple with caramel and perfumed soap. Flavours are sweet apple with light woodiness. Some mellow soapiness towards the finish. Lightly perfumed. Lacks bite but is pleasant in a gentle, appley kind of way.

Corked bottle from Auchan, Quatre Temps, La Défense, Paris, 2.5% ABV
It has a deeper shade of blond than the Brut/Sec. Sweetish apple aroma, mild. The flavor as well is sweetish, some apple juice, very light cork in the end. Very simple.

Bottle. Golden/orange cider with a weakly apple aroma and a quite syrupy sweet apple flavour. Overall a very average cider.

Hardly any head on this pale yellow body. The taste is fruity as it should be, and mild as the label indicates. Not a beer, but a nice late evening drink for Summer days. Feels clean.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2007 Pours clear yellow. Fizzy and very pleasant. Nice tangible apple aftertaste. Disclaimer: I like cider a lot :-)

75 cl bottle. Golden colour with nearly no head. A lot of nice apple aroma. Very much of sweet apple flavour, ends up light and tasty.

(bottle, 75cl)Light amber golored, no head after 2 seconds. Slghtly oxidaded, dusty and appel aroma. No citrics in the flavour, pure juice. Notes of peach, strawberrysmoothie, pear and passionfriut. Very low carbonation and a cloying finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Fully golden with a tiny, white head. Lightly sourish apple aroma. Very distinct apple flavour and a distinct sweetness - never cloyingly so though. Actually rather authentic. Lovely for a light cider. 240206
