Gift from SJ. A nice bit of soure fruits, raisins and apples. Not really a style I like, but not bad for what it was. A bit of a sweet finish.

750ml bottle (Rimi, Tallinn)
7 Gorgeous baked apple aroma - tons of apple, but with some sweet brown sugar too.
3 Deep amber, brief head, fizzy.
7 Lovely sweet fruity retronasals - again, baked apple. On swallowing, the sugars subside immediately, and you’re left with the full apple, skin and all.
4 Crisp palate, lively carbonation. Finish wonderfully dry, you get a little shiver down your spine.
14 I’ve had Ecussons like this before, given them massive scores, but on having then again, they’ve not had the magic again, so I’m feeling a little reticent to splash out with a huge dollups of points. However, one thing’s clear - this is beyond doubt a truly delicious filtered cider.

Decent apple aroma but not overly complex. Orange-yellow colour. Decent apple taste, but again lacking much layering of flavours. Just a straight ahead cider, but a good one.

Bottle 75cl. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TSODRBSG09.
Clear medium orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy, apple, dry apple, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090822]

Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of faroeviking. It’s a clear,a golden sider with some off-white bubbles forming some sort of head. Lovely aroma and flavor with ripe apples and something leading my thoughts to an orchard in the cold autumn evenings. Hints of cores as well in the flavor. Dry, astringent and palate cleansing. Apples in the finish. A quenching and nice one, even though it’s a bit hard on the stomach. 090822

Botella bought in Paris. Unclear golden. Nice sweet apple aroma, bit woody. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is very pleasant with apples, a good sweetness, some wood, bit tart and with a dry apple sweet fruity finish.

The color is yellow-golden with oven baked apples in the aroma. The flavor has a light sweetness with notes of oven baked apple, wood and its dry and slightly sour, the third in the series – all nice, but this one is very, very nice.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2009. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. Nose is fruit, oak and apples. Very sweet, sticky and cloying. Extremyly dry end. Fine.
