Nice aroma of pears, apple, and oak wood, no head, decent dark yellow colour. Taste is very soft apples and little else, a bit simplistic from my perspective, and a sweet finish.

750 ml corked and caged bottle shared by Kevin poured a hazy tarnished gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of apple, butterscotch, biscuit, light earthiness and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of sweet apple, biscuit, honey, light butterscotch, light earthiness and a hint of citrus with a smooth dry lingering sweet apple finish.

Bottle shared by Kevin via Lumpy. Pours hazy gold with a small, fizzy white head, medium retention with spare lacing. Aroma is dry grass, apple meat, straw, earth, and dank cellar notes. Flavor is apple, straw, horse blanket, and cheese. Light body, high carbonation, and a dry finish.

Clear medium orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate apple, overripped apple, wood. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Lot of flavor for 2.5% cider. [20090822]

Bottle, courtesy of faroeviking. A clear, golden cider with some white bubbles. Sweetish, fruity nose, mostly apples of cours, but there’s also hints of pears. The flavor is also on the sweet side, with mashed apples more than whole apples. Full to medium body, sticky yet palate-cleansing and slightly astringent. Really nice for a cider at 2.5% ABV, or at least very nice compared to what I expected. 090822

The color is warm golden and the aroma is sweet with notes of oven baked apple. The flavor is sweet and dry with notes of oven baked apple, wood and a touch of coco nut – a lot of flavor in only 2.5%, very nice!

Clear yellow body with a medium white head. Pure sweet apples in aroma. Flavour is sweet apples and a touch of citrus. Medium bodied.
