Who doesn’t love a great IPA? The secret of this brew is that we used actual dinosaur bones.

Okay, that was a lie. But we did throw in enough hops to bury a Brontosaurus. Inspired by some of our favorite West Coast IPAs, the bold pine, citrus, peach, and tangerine hop flavors, along with a clean bitterness are balanced by a velvety malt backbone. This beautiful blend of flavor and drinkability showcases the truly unique experimental hop 05256 which we find to be delightfully juicy and dank. You don’t need tiny arms and a huge head to enjoy this mammoth IPA!

Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a small head that collects to a nice ring. Aroma is juicy and fruity. Fresh squeezed oranges and grapefruit, light pine, light pineapple, and light caramel. Taste sugary sweet and very juicy. Only a light bitterness. Grapefruit juice, orange peel, pineapple, and light lemon. Very dry finish with some tartness too

Average ratings across the board in all categories but gotta give it an overall good rating. Why? It's different. It's downright nasty at times but for some reason it grows on you and becomes more and more enjoyable. It's weird and likeable and one I am personally adding to my IPA rotation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear amber with a thick, fine-bubbled buff head. Hoppy aroma balances woody and resiny notes, while malt and citrus tones provide support. Bold, hoppy flavor should please any IPA fan. Malty and grapefruit notes add some depth. Mouthfeel features firm body and strong, persistent fizz that leaves the lips tingling for a while. A worthy brew in any geological era.

Austin, Tx - Whole Foods, Lamar St - 12 oz can. Slight haze to the light orange pour, nice soft snow white. Juicy aroma with some sticky spruce accents, a touch of pineapple. Solid IPA flavor, some strong citrus bitterness, some pineapple fruitiness, light caramel sweetness. Nice sticky mouthfeel. Impressed.

Smells pretty good, very fruity, sticky, piney-pineapple. Foggy straw blonde. Sturdy bittering, a little chemical, fermented pineapple juice, tangy, piney. Chewy, body leans heavy. Aftertaste is citrus pithy. Decent. Thanks to PorterPounder for hauling this back from Austin.

Can. Pours a hazy, rich gold with a high, fine-grained, lacy, bright white head. Nose is, indeed, dank as hell -- as well as having grapefruit, stinky cheese, barnyard, and blood orange notes. Sweet up front, with a lot of herb and stone fruit, then -- you guessed it -- more dank. Yeah, this baby’s sticky and dirty as hell, and it works pretty damn well. The finish has most of the pure hops bitterness, pulling the various herbal and malty threads together and snipping them off neatly. Well done.

This is a pretty dank IPA. It has an aroma with hints of fruits like pineapple, mango/apricot, and citrus. Pours with a golden honey colored body with a slight haze. The white pillowy head dissipates quickly leaving mild lacing around the glass. The flavor has a pretty strong bitterness to it with a skunky after taste. The flavor has hints of malt, but that is overpowered by the abundance of hops used in this brew. It feels silky on the tongue when drinking. While it is not one of my favorite IPA’s, it is definitely worth a try.

Not a big fan. It's as if they had everything going for his brew and then took it down too early. The hints of greatness are there. Unfortunately they are overshadowed by tones of mediocrity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Delivers where it promises, not the dankset IPA out there but pretty close. The back of the can says it uses" the truly unique experimental hop 05256". Pungent skunky aroma with hints of fruits like pineapple, mango, and citrus. Golden orange/ yellow body has a slight haze, the cap is thin and ringed leaving behind some decent lace. The flavor has mid level bitterness, and hop skunkiness, the fruit presence is gone. Some malts come through, but this is about the hops, like an IPA should be. Overall its not the best, unusual and worth a try.

16 oz. can from Spec’s El Paso. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have big citrus and peach character, some dank hops, some resiny notes, I think it got a little better as it warmed. It gets points for a new brewery.
