COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Who doesn’t love a great IPA? The secret of this brew is that we used actual dinosaur bones.

Okay, that was a lie. But we did throw in enough hops to bury a Brontosaurus. Inspired by some of our favorite West Coast IPAs, the bold pine, citrus, peach, and tangerine hop flavors, along with a clean bitterness are balanced by a velvety malt backbone. This beautiful blend of flavor and drinkability showcases the truly unique experimental hop 05256 which we find to be delightfully juicy and dank. You don’t need tiny arms and a huge head to enjoy this mammoth IPA!

Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a small head that collects to a nice ring. Aroma is juicy and fruity. Fresh squeezed oranges and grapefruit, light pine, light pineapple, and light caramel. Taste sugary sweet and very juicy. Only a light bitterness. Grapefruit juice, orange peel, pineapple, and light lemon. Very dry finish with some tartness too

Draft at the Nook. Pours opaque opaque golden amber with a fizzy off white head. Smells dank, like coriander, basil, leather, and barnyard. Tastes like grapefruit hops, lemon, coriander and dry leather.

Incredible. Bright orange cloudy pour on draft at Springbok in Houston. White creamy head. Juicy citrus burst of heaven. Tangerine and lemon. So good

The first thing that hit me as I opened the can was the smell of grapefruit. This is remarkable for a beer that was not yet poured. The beer came out of the can an into a mug, and it looked quite cloudy and had an amber body. The look was somewhat similar to a wheat beer to my eyes. The aroma that was evident while the beer was still in the can was much the same in the glass, with lots of grapefruit and some pine resin. The taste was very citric, with the grapefruit dominating the palette. There was some sweetness towards the end of the sip before the long, bitter, aftertaste kicked in. Great juicy feel to the body, which was a touch below medium dense. Haven’t seen the offerings from this brewery in the store before, but look forward to tasting more of them, as this one is a winner.

Cloudy orange color. Pours with a thin white head that maintains a ring around the glass. Pine nose. Turbid mouthfeel. Pine sap taste and finish.

A great big hoppy aroma that sets the stage for what follows. Really enjoyed this one. Could have sat down for another, but lunch wasn’t an all-day affair. A bit of citrus, but I picked up more of a piney, grassy taste. My favorite on my TX trip.

Tap at WoB Arlington. While I think this is not so much dank as tropical, I found it a really tasty IPA. Aroma is pine and tropical fruit, and the flavor is juicy tropical hops with a clean finish.

Keg at Brew & Brew - Austin. Pours soupy orange with a frothy, white head. Nice and juicy in the nose, lots of pulpy citrus, pale bread, papaya, peach. Medium sweet flavor with moderate pale bread, dense citrus character, very low bitterness, some tangerine, peach, melon. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Sweet and juicy on the finish? With more pulp, pale bread, mango, orange. Perhaps just a touch too sweet, but definitely rich and juicy.

Sampled at Classic City Brewfest 2016. Pours a clear golden orange from the can with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma and taste of big dank hops, piney citrus, like a super simcoe, with hints of caramel malt underneath. Really solid IPA.
