Who doesnít love a great IPA? The secret of this brew is that we used actual dinosaur bones.

Okay, that was a lie. But we did throw in enough hops to bury a Brontosaurus. Inspired by some of our favorite West Coast IPAs, the bold pine, citrus, peach, and tangerine hop flavors, along with a clean bitterness are balanced by a velvety malt backbone. This beautiful blend of flavor and drinkability showcases the truly unique experimental hop 05256 which we find to be delightfully juicy and dank. You donít need tiny arms and a huge head to enjoy this mammoth IPA!

Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a small head that collects to a nice ring. Aroma is juicy and fruity. Fresh squeezed oranges and grapefruit, light pine, light pineapple, and light caramel. Taste sugary sweet and very juicy. Only a light bitterness. Grapefruit juice, orange peel, pineapple, and light lemon. Very dry finish with some tartness too

16 oz. can. Pours a medium, well retained, off white head, over a hazy, gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is American style hops with pine, resin, grapefruit, light cereal malts, balance to the hops......taste is slightly floral sweet initially, with light honey tones, light cereal malts, becoming mildly bitter, with herbal hop notes, balance to the hops......mouth feel, light of medium body, slightly sticky, minimal alcohol, light but creamy carbonation. This is a relatively light IPA in both the malt and hop backbones. It is definitely "American" in the hop aromas and flavors, but is quite light in bitterness. The malt backbone is quite restrained. To make it a more typical would require additional forces for both the malts and hops. It really is not "mammoth". BJCP 7/2/13/4/6

16 oz can split with my supervisor. Murky orange pour with a great white head that sticks around. Definitely hop-forward. Aromas of pine, grass, mango, citrus, and a bit of diacetyl. Pretty dank weed flavor, and more citrus and passion fruit. Damn fine ipa, just that hint of d threw me off.

16 oz. can from my secret santa. Thanks man! Pours an orangish amber with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, passion fruit and guava. Dank weed and peach notes. Lots of hop flavor in the taste, medium bitterness with mild malt sweetness. Lively carbonation, medium bodied. Finishes nice and hoppy. Overall, a pretty great IPA.

Light golden in color with an amber hue and a fine, frothy, off-white head, this deserves to be poured into a glass. Pine and citrus-like hop aromas fill the nose with a touch of resin and lightly caramelized malts. I donít know if itís because of the name or not, but there is something soft, murky, and dank about this beer from nose to finish. The combination of Munich malts and both fruity and citrusy hops was well-played and makes for a really respectable beer. You can smell the oils before it even enters the mouth. A smooth, but sharply hopped bitter, lightly malty experience hits the mouth up front, and Iím really loving the use of Munich in this beer. Itís a great recipe! The soft, slightly thick feel in the mouth is a perfect delivery system for the delicious hop bouquet. This beer is almost making me sound like a beer snob. A soft body but sharp palate makes for an intense, but hard to put down beer thatís satisfying and sessionable. It finishes just as delicious as it begins, and I actually think it could have been put into a 24-ounce can the more I think about it. No, the hops arenít that powerful, and the bitterness isnít that out if this world, but thereís something about it thatís just likeable.
