Who doesn’t love a great IPA? The secret of this brew is that we used actual dinosaur bones.

Okay, that was a lie. But we did throw in enough hops to bury a Brontosaurus. Inspired by some of our favorite West Coast IPAs, the bold pine, citrus, peach, and tangerine hop flavors, along with a clean bitterness are balanced by a velvety malt backbone. This beautiful blend of flavor and drinkability showcases the truly unique experimental hop 05256 which we find to be delightfully juicy and dank. You don’t need tiny arms and a huge head to enjoy this mammoth IPA!

Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a small head that collects to a nice ring. Aroma is juicy and fruity. Fresh squeezed oranges and grapefruit, light pine, light pineapple, and light caramel. Taste sugary sweet and very juicy. Only a light bitterness. Grapefruit juice, orange peel, pineapple, and light lemon. Very dry finish with some tartness too

Smells slightly sweet, slightly hoppy and has characteristics of white bread and a paper-like smell. Hazy yellow color. White bubbly head. Tons of lacing. Tastes citrusy and hoppy. Not great, kind of fake like a cheap lemon drop. Palate is decent. Not overly impressed with this one. Will be trying more selections from cedar creek but this one was a miss ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the can. Not bad, not great. Seems a little sweet but not a show stopper. Hops shine and give way to bitterness. I think if you used the word "dank" to review this, then you just phoned it in. Wait a minute... drats. Anyway, pretty fair but not a repeat purchase. I like my IPA a little more crisp.

Low fill in a 16 oz can. Oxidized, no hop aroma or flavor,...oxidized crystal malt aroma and flavor...smells of sherry and almonds and cardboard. Nonexistent body (due to oxidation prob). Weak recipe, worse packaging process and the most expensive ipa on shelf space shared with a gabfest gold and bronze...go figure

473ml can. Smell is peach and heavy pine, some sugar, spice. Flavor is big piney bitterness, dank, mango, and heavy malt though not caramally, just sweet and boozy. Decent ipa.

Mixed feelings about this one. Nice hop aroma of floral and pine, which made it promising. Unattractive murky sand color that did not make it inviting. Upfront hoppy aroma but not overpowering. Medium to average palate for the style. Some malty sweetness to balance.

Can @ Three Notch’d Tasting. Amber with a small head. Nose of lemon toast and marmalade. Flavor is similar. Sweet Japanese pears and orange peel. Marmalade. Some plum. Light woody bitterness. Medium body, active carbonation.

16 oz. can. Pours a medium, well retained, off white head, over a hazy, gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is American style hops with pine, resin, grapefruit, light cereal malts, balance to the hops......taste is slightly floral sweet initially, with light honey tones, light cereal malts, becoming mildly bitter, with herbal hop notes, balance to the hops......mouth feel, light of medium body, slightly sticky, minimal alcohol, light but creamy carbonation. This is a relatively light IPA in both the malt and hop backbones. It is definitely "American" in the hop aromas and flavors, but is quite light in bitterness. The malt backbone is quite restrained. To make it a more typical would require additional forces for both the malts and hops. It really is not "mammoth". BJCP 7/2/13/4/6

Can shared at a tasting, 10/6/14. Pours a hazy orange with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops, pale malt. The taste is bitter tropical, citrus, pine hops, clean pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

16 oz can split with my supervisor. Murky orange pour with a great white head that sticks around. Definitely hop-forward. Aromas of pine, grass, mango, citrus, and a bit of diacetyl. Pretty dank weed flavor, and more citrus and passion fruit. Damn fine ipa, just that hint of d threw me off.
