8/27/2014. From can. Light amber with a white head. Caramel and malty aromas. Light hop bitterness, more caramel, but seem to lack dimension. Bitter finish. Good, but not great.

Smell of light fruit, appearance is copper gold with white head, taste is light fruity hop with slight bitter finish. Went in with low expectations but a really nice refreshing beer

Can to glass. Pours a deep copper color with visible carbonation. Light, white head. Aroma is citrus hops, grass, roasted malts with toast. Taste is slight pineapple and citrus hops, with solid malt backbone. Well balanced, but leans more towards the hops. Palate is medium body, high carbonation. Overall a very enjoyable, hoppy pale. And it comes in 16oz sized cans. Nice!

Surprised by the low ratings here. The labels are terrible but the beer it’s surprisingly good. Pours dark golden. Smell is fruity, fragrant hoppy and inviting. Taste is creamy, fruity hoppy, restrained bitterness. Smooth, creamy body. Very drinkable. Nice

Clear golden pour with a white that fades fairly quickly. Aroma is pine, grass, light citrus and earth. Taste is pine, grapefruit, herbal, and light toast. Easy drinking. Nice beer.

Pours a golden color with white head. Light pine and some citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with just a little malt.

Pounder can thanks to fiveacestx. Pours a clear golden orange with a full white head. Aroma of slight pine and grapefruit. Faint aroma though. Taste is fairly balanced but on the bitter side. Fairly clean finish. Carbonation and mouthfeel are both medium. Pretty enjoyable. Not sure why there are a bunch of poor reviews.

Bonus from a recent trade. Light orange color. Very easy drinking and light hop profile. Perfect summer beer. Herbal tea aromas. Flavor is a touch toasty grain. Grassy hop finish. Refreshing.

Cedar Creek has chosen to go with Apollo and bravo hops for their pale ales and lawnmower beers. An excellent choice in my mind. I hate overhopped brews, and this one is overhopped and I like it.

473 ml. can. Pours an absolutely enormous, gradually collapsing, ivory head with extensive lacing, over a cloudy dark gold body (SRM 6).....nose is light citrus, pine from the hops, hints of cereal from the malts, minimal esters.....taste is light sweet, with cereal from the malts, light citrus notes, and hints of pine frome the hops, finishing with mild bitterness, no esters.....mouth feel light body, mild acid, soft finish. This can is a poor example of an APA. The hop character is minimally present and the malts are almost insipid. I wonder about its freshness but there is no indication of a BBD on the can, and one can’t tell about the storage history. BJCP 6/2/10/4/5
