Cream Ale is a style that is is under-appreciated by most of the craft beer world, we want to change that. Lawn Ranger is session ale with a solid malt character from the US 2-row, Rye, and Flaked Oats. Rye and Oats are not typical ingredients for a cream ale but they allow us to keep the alcohol low and still provide a some body to the beer. We use a minimal blend of Apollo and Bravo hops to balance the malts and German Alt yeast. This is the one to drink during the Texas summers or when you want to have more than a couple.

Poured a golden color from the can with aromas of light yeast, some hay, a touch of rye and some oats. Flavors were light and spice with some yeast with some grassy notes, decent.

16 oz can from Ohio. Hazy yellow-gold body with an ample, creamy white head. Light malt aroma withfaint spicing. Flavorful, fruity and spicy for style but still, of course, mild. Light but not watery with lively carbonation.

Pours a hazy golden yellow color with lots of floating sediment. There was a small white head that dissipated very quickly. The aroma is fruity and floral, quite yeasty. The taste is floral hops and some breadiness from the yeast. The mouthfeel is light and prickly from the carbonation.

Can at home with Posey. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with two fingers of white head. Minimal flavor, basically no aroma. Drinkable if I’m really thirsty, but not much more.

Pour is transparent yellow with a tight creamy off white head. Nose is strong grain, a bit stale and very grassy. Taste is a bit more palatable. The grain is strong, some creamy vanilla notes and grassy herbal hops in back. Lighter body with strong carbonation and a soft clean feel.

Decent for a boring style. Faint and mild malt aroma with a drinkable straw-like flavor and a hint of hops. Light palate that is true to the style.

Can. Pours gold with a white head. Mild grainy malty notes, light sweetness, and light floral bitterness, followed by a quick and relatively clean finish. Not bad.

Though by their own admission is not exactly to style it does fulfill their purpose. Very drinkable lawnmower beer with more body and a good hop malt balance yet malt forward. The rye is apparent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 oz. can. Pours a thin, poorly retained, off white head, over a slightly hazy, gold (SRM 5) body......nose is cereal malts, light citrus, minimal herbal hops.....taste is light cereal malts, barest hints of sweetness, light citrus, primarily grapefruit, finishing with the bares wisp of hop bitterness. The citrus notes are not to style. There are also no corn notes. The style is usually quite insipid , while this on has a modicum of personality. BJCP 5/2/10/4/5
