COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cream Ale is a style that is is under-appreciated by most of the craft beer world, we want to change that. Lawn Ranger is session ale with a solid malt character from the US 2-row, Rye, and Flaked Oats. Rye and Oats are not typical ingredients for a cream ale but they allow us to keep the alcohol low and still provide a some body to the beer. We use a minimal blend of Apollo and Bravo hops to balance the malts and German Alt yeast. This is the one to drink during the Texas summers or when you want to have more than a couple.

From a can, pours a yellow color with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly. I smell malt, some yeast and light citrus. I taste a smooth creamy light citrus and grains. Very refreshing. Not bad at all:)

On draft at Toro Burger in El Paso. Sweet, grassy, slightly skunked aroma. Flavor is mild and sweet, with a little vanilla and grassy hops. OK.

Light gold, good slightly off-white head. Mine was quite cloudy and had a nicely thick palate. A decent bit going on with this beer made it fun to drink.

Straw in color with a quickly disappearing medium head in pale color. Nose is faintly sweet with no hop character present. Medium body with high carbonation and lots of sweetness is, I'm told, atypical for the type but not unpleasant. Rye and malts come through clearly in the palate and the high carbonation leaves a clean sensation appropriate for a summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours a hazy gold with a high, lacy, mashed-potato white head. Not much nose to it -- what there is is generic corn syrup, cereal, aluminum foil, and corn. Sweet and malic on the front of the tongue -- good mouthfeel, I can tell the oats are there, but I canít pick up much rye or hops at all and the carbonation is too low. Thereís very little ale character to it; itís acceptable but bland. Finish is short and forgettable. Too mild and too tentative.

Pours a golden color with white head. Cereal grain, bread, and some earth on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied.

Cedar Creek. Apollo and Bravo. It works. They dialed it down from the EPH, and itís a great beer at a great price.

3/28/2014. 16 oz. can. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Citrusy and malty aromas with flavors of light fruit, grain and citrus. Not a while lot to it, but easy to drink on a warm day.

Aroma of malt, light yeast and citrus. Taste similar to smell with a bit more presence from the citrus. Pours light golden, light haze with a good amount of carbonation. Thin white head. Cream taste and finish with a bit of bitter on the back end.
