COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dark bronze colored ale contains seven different varieties of barley from three countries. Tettnang hops and pure Iowa wildflower honey create a nice balance and smooth finish to this mild porter. Silver Medal Winner at the 2004 World Beer Championships

Dark brown color. Tastes like a true-to-style classic porter (tart roastiness) but with some honey sweetness/lightness thrown in. An aggreeable combination! I appreciated the fact that their porter actually tasted like a porter, unlike a lot of other examples I’ve had. A fault of this beer would be that the flavor is pretty one dimensional.
