A sweet methyglyn made with pure honey, whole coriander and bitter orange peel. The spices combine beautifully with the honey aroma. The honey flavor starts immediately and is followed boldly by the spices. The sweetness is counter-balanced by the spices. Lively, bright and warming from the alcohol. Goes well with Mexican cuisine or other spicy foods.

Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with no head at all. The aroma and flavor have sweet honey, bigger floral character, orange zest, spices blend in nicely, some boozy heat to this, overall this is not just your typical sugar bomb like many meads.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with good legs. Medium to heavy floral honey, spice and small alcohol aroma. Medium body with a thick smooth texture. Medium to heavy floral honey and spice flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate duration. Pleasing smooth alcohol burn. Solid mead.

750ml clear bottle, thanks to tmoney99 for sharing. Hazy golden color. No head. Really interesting aroma and flavor. Mild honey, lemon, some bigger cookie-like breadiness, some creme. Spices are well-blended with the mead, no spicy roughness to this. Moderate sweet taste, but with a dry finish. Mild pleasant warmth. Bigger body. Mild slick. No carbonation. Good full feel. Nice dry finish. Excellent mead, very tasty. Love the unusual flavor on this one. A nice change of pace.

Bottle sample at The Festival. Slightly hazy amber color. Aroma of coriander, orange peel, enough to remind me of a nice witbier. Taste is lightly spiced citrus, apple, tannic edges. Delicious.

Pours lightly golden. Aroma is a nice sweet orange liquor. Flavor is very much honey up front. Sweet think and darn tasty. The orange comes through in the middle, like a sweet marmalade. A touch of coriander in the finish. A nice sweet treat. Expensive but I am intrigued enough to seek out more.

Pre-game tasting @Shelton’s The-Fest. Clear, mellow yellow gold body. Subtle warm sugar nose. Wax, lemon & orange rind, plastic. Taste is bittersweet. Mellow & sweet, unidentifiable honey, warming coriander, & surprisingly mellower macerated zests. The coriander came off as the most potent, but nothing offensive or medicinal. Body thicker then thin. Slight acid & nippy alcohol on the finish. Decent mead, if a bit subdued. Maybe better warm?

Pale golden color out of the bottle and still. Honey sweet nose with some floral spice notes. The taste is dominated by the honey sweetness with some orange candy and orange liquer. The finish kicks it up with the spices and something faintly hot.

750ml bottle. Clear golden yellow and still. Aroma of zesty honey, alcohol and oranges. The flavor is of sweet honey with the spices and orange just in the background, also a light alcohol taste. Semi-sweet with a slightly dry finish. Very nice Mead, the spices aren’t overdone and blend well with the honey flavors.
