Commercial Description:
A semi-sweet spiced melomel made with cardamom, sour cherries, plums and a hint of pomegranates. This wonderfully complex fruity mead is made even more delicious by the unique eucalyptus/lemon flavor and aroma of the cardomom. The acidity from the fruits perfectly balances the honey.

Sampled at the ’09 Great Alaska Beer and Barley Wine Festival. Copper colored and still. Heavy, sweet nose with bright cherry and plum. I assume that the fruitiness in the flavor is pomogranite as I don’t think I’ve ever had one. Very warming alcohol. Very tastey berry mead.
