Commercial Description:
Unfiltered in bottle and keg.
Pierre Celis created the original Hoegaarden beer in the early 1960’s. Interbrew-Labatt bought the brand and the brewery in the 1980's. Pierre Celis formed a new brewery in Austin Texas, brewing the same beer but under the brand name Celis White. Miller bought the Celis brewery and the Celis White brand-name in 1996. The brewery closed in 2000. In late 2002 Michigan Brewing bought the Celis White brand from Miller. Brouwerij Van Steenberge is now brewing the original Pierre Celis White under the brand-name Celis White in Europe and Ertveld's Wit in North America.

Veyr nic ein aroma, not too sour. I do not know why the label, but the beer in the whole i very good.

Bottle. A definite citrus feel taste and aroma, medium body a very refreshing beer.

a fine aroma of wheat and hints of citrus. SMall white head, haze yellow. small hints of spice, clean taste.

Bottle 26/05/06. Slightly cloudy pale yellow body with compact white head. Coriander and orange peel on the nose. Very smooth taste (citrus) that is a bit lacking.

Bottle. Dull cloudy appearance. Small white head. Fruity, yeasty aroma. Somewhat dry with a soft wheat flavor. Not tart enough and flavor lacked in comparison to other witbier.

Bottle. Creamy white fair mostly deminishing head. Pale yellow colour. Heavy yeasty aroma. Sour citrus notes like grapefruit. Short finish. Watery palate. Not good.

Bottle. Hazy yellow colour with a medium mostly lasting white head. Aroma and flavour of citrus and coriander. Nice palate.
