A wonderful wit with a little twist - pungeancy. Colour is straw coloured and turbid with a thick white head. Corriander notes in the nose and I think sweet orange peels. Lightly hopped and somewhat tart and thirst quenching. Some vanilla notes. Ironically, this Celis is brewed by Hoegaarden in Belgium.

A cloud of perfect foam resting on a lovely frosted grey yellow expanse. Beautiful flavor - strong coriander, orange, tangy and spicy. Subtle yet with strength. A truly fine beer. Highly recommended!

RBSG2003. Wow, I liked this! Super orangey -- peel, fruit and all -- in aroma and somewhat in flavor. A lot of coriander, no pepper, a bit salty (!), delicious! Very light yellow.

Cloudy and very lightly yellow. Little head. Very citrusy, almost like sprite and oj. Very refreshing though. Thin.

One of the best Wits that I have ever had, although I'm not big on white beer fan in general. I poured it ice cold, and I think that in this case, that is the best way to serve it.

Big head on a couldy yellow colored body. Wheat lemon nose -- a lot like Pledge. Sugary sweet flavor -- a bit tart and tangy. Mouthfeel is like fizzy water.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2003 Slightly cloudy, yellow with thick billowy white head. Peppery, lemony nose. A bit watery at first. Peppery and a bit fruity in the middle with a dry and fizzy end. 6/30/03:Six months later this seems more orange flavored and lighter spiced. Much better than earlier.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Gusler (2654) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUN 5, 2003
A quite attractive light lemon yellow color that is a bit occluded, personable bright white head that is spumous in texture, the lace a satiny sheet to conceal the glass. Lemon like aroma, crisp, clean, somewhat sweet also, a real pleasure to the nose and the eyes, start is lightly sweet, top is light to moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish has a stinging acidity, tart, hops are spicy and delightful in their presence, very dry aftertaste. A nice palate pleasing beer for us “Desert Rats”.

Delicious, lemony, coriander flavor. I like this beer very much. An excellent beer for a hot day. No, it's not complex, but Witbier's generally are not.

Cloudy light golden with a large pillowy fizzing head. Weak coriander and citrus aroma. Body is watery and still with a mellow lemonade flavor profile. Not very complex, but is a good refresher for a hot summer day.
