COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered in bottle and keg.
Pierre Celis created the original Hoegaarden beer in the early 1960’s. Interbrew-Labatt bought the brand and the brewery in the 1980's. Pierre Celis formed a new brewery in Austin Texas, brewing the same beer but under the brand name Celis White. Miller bought the Celis brewery and the Celis White brand-name in 1996. The brewery closed in 2000. In late 2002 Michigan Brewing bought the Celis White brand from Miller. Brouwerij Van Steenberge is now brewing the original Pierre Celis White under the brand-name Celis White in Europe and Ertveld's Wit in North America.

low aroma, and a appearance with little foam, the taste is only few notes of wheat, and the palate is thin, this beer, is a thin beer, like many mass produced lagers.

Spicy aroma with carriander, grain and cirtus notes. A bit of sourness in the background. Cloudy dark straw yellow with a small bubbles. Very little head that quickly goes away, leaving a bit of lace. Cirtus/lemony taste, slightly sweet and very crisp with a small bit of sourness.. Very fizzy on the tongue. Medium light bodied. Finishes dry and tarty. This is a refreshing beer that I would probably consume in large quantities. 250ml bottle, poured.

It pours a cloudy whitish yellow with high carbonation and almost no head. A hard aroma at lemon that is not so much perceived when drinking it. Very refreshing.

Aroma: Banana smell. Appearance: Pale color, hazy and sparkling liquid. The head is minimal white. Taste: light sweetness with an average duration Palate: light body, thin watery texture and a fizzy carbonation Overall: a light white beer. Nice for in the summer but I prefer a beer with more body.
