Large, visible pip-like pieces of sediment. Pineapple sweetness and a sour tang of citrussy lemon. A potent dose of coriander followed by some lovely biscuity notes long after the swallow. Very fruity and very wheaty. A refreshingly tangy Wit. (Re-rate) A dusting of clove. Bittersweet, slightly sickly Witbier sodden with estery banana fruitiness. ucusty (1922), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2006 250ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy yellow in appearance, with a thin white head. Aroma is a touch buttery, waves of alcohol and some malt syrup. Smooth and thick in the mouth with a pronounced sweet body, slightly oily/buttery, tropical fruit and some spice. But all those nice flavours are rather subdued and overall this just feels dead average. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

Peppery, lemony nose. A bit watery at first. Peppery and a bit fruity in the middle with a dry and fizzy end. 6/30/03:Six months later this seems more orange flavored and lighter spiced. Much better than earlier.
