Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was toffee, honey, nut and fruity hops. The flavor was sour caramel, toffee, fruity hops and a bit of golden fruit. Medium length finish. Medium body and smooth. Nice.

Very good for style, could be in merry old England toasty and biscuit. Again great lacing and head over amber body

taster on tap @ Cellar Dweller / Morrow OH --- Clear dark amber, thick head rim with a light head cover, thin streaks of lace. Taste is dry malt that adds some hop bitters in the palate. Both sides move to a sharp-edged finish that lingers for a short while. Drinkable, not at all memorable.

Sample at The Crafty Pint. The beer is a slightly hazy amber-copper color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet caramel, earthy hops and roast malt. The finish is sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft on a couple occasions. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have mild caramel, toasted pale malts, light fruit character, mild bitterness to the finish. Decent, but nothing really stands out here.
