3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ Hogs Apothecary. Hazed light orange pour with white foam. Resinous and citric all the way. Big grapefruit, orange rind, and pineapple. Slight green onion and definitely some bitter pine. Very mild malt character to this one and luckily not the diacetyl that I sometimes get in their hoppy beers. Maybe a touch of sweet stone fruits.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
32 oz. growler poured into a snifter. Slightly hazy orange body. Small white head. Smells like diacetyl. Boo. Heavy nelson hops and tropical fruit. Tastes more of the hops, but diacetyl still comes through. Lightly sweet pale malt. Low bitterness. Medium body. Low carbonation. Shame about the diacetyl. For the brief moment before I smelled it, it was pretty nice.

Draft. Dank is right. Cloudy Champagne color and arma of marijuana and citrus pith. Flavors of butterscotch, grapefruit, orange and something wonderfully bitter, like sourdough grapefruit bread. A superstar.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the source. It pours a light hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is citrus, spice and light florals. Grapefruit and mango. The flavor is pretty nice with great balance of citrus, spice, florals and just a hint of the butter that I get from a lot of their other pale, hoppy beers. The finish is snappy with some grapefruit pith bitterness. Good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taster at the source. Pours like cloudy apple-mango juice with almost no head. Aroma is dank Southern Hemisphere hops with the Nelson bright and clear: stinky tropical fruit, lychee, peach, weed, piña colada, light pine. Taste is juicy mango and orange with a somewhat grassy and soapy finish. Lingering pithy bitterness. Nice but aroma is the best part.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Cellarmaker in San Fran. Jarspag provided the hookup in bringing us here. This place is likely to blow up big if they keep their hops coming along they way they are now. Great little pale ale, extremely floral aroma with white peppercorn, apricot, pine needles and a big bag if extra dank pot. Flavor follows suit with low sweetness and a sessionable finish. An all-day drinker for sure. This place is reminding me very much of the high quality ultra-dry-hopped ales of Alpine Beer Co. in San Diego, and that is a beautiful thing.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the brewery.
Aroma has a nice medium light cracker malt notes with some white bread and biscuit notes. Fairly hop forward with some nice citrus and tropical fruit notes. Hints of melon and grapes as well. Lots of pineapple and tangerine.
Pours a fairly clear, golden color with a small white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. Light lacing and small legs.
Flavor has a light cracker malt note with faint biscuit and graham cracker notes. Moderate bitterness with a ton of hop character. Lots of tropical fruit including pineapple and mango. Quite a bit of citrus notes, more orange and tangerine than grapefruit. Some light melon and stone fruit adds more complexity.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a rather amazing, very happy pale ale. Cellarmaker can do no wrong when it cones to hoppy beers. Great hop character with moderate bitterness and a nice malt backbone. I could drink this beer all day every day.
