Amber colored with an off-white head, left nice rings on the glass.. Initial bitterness with a mix of floral & citrus hops. Fruity, fruit cocktail with lemon tea, interesting.

Shared 330 ml bottle, from Oddbins Chiswick. BB 12 / 2013. Orange colour, moderate white head. Strong hoppy and herbal aroma, also notes of slightly caramelized orange marmalade. Hoppy flavour, maybe not as fresh as desirable, but still fairly decent. Piney finish.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours hazy daek golden with a small white head. Aroma is malty, honey and marmelade, with ome subdued hops. Taste is dry, moderate bitter, resiny and piney hops, cant say I feel the lemon, still a good one, with a big malty body.

Flaske (bb 0813) på rbhdsamlinga feb-15: lukter friskt av tropiske frukter tross dårlig dato. Smaken tenderer mot appelsinmarmelade. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen.

Bottle from Oddbins, Bristol. Hazy amber, with a tight, off-white head. Aroma of warming alcohol, barley sugar, orange peel and greenish hops. Solid, bready malt flavours, with some lemon on top and a sweet finish. Something’s not quite right with this, the finish was slightly buttery.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2014 Sweet malty biscuit bready aroma, smells like a raging bitch with a thick creamy head. Deep golden in appearance, no signs of lemon here yet though. Deep complex malty taste with a surprising citrussy zing from the lemon there now in the taste. Hoppy with a lingering tang. Tiny silky bubbles with a viscous sensation

hazy amber beer with a little white head. Palate is smooth with a crisp minerally trailing edge. Light unsweet toffee malt, thin. Bitterish orange hops, tangy and with a twist of lemon. Vague tea flavour. Finishes semi dry. Imperial ESB? Decent!

Sunset golden, tease of visible carbonation, decent ringed head. Nice juice box sweetness, little else in depth on the nose. A forest of bitterness up front, a prolonged but not over the top lemoness.and well judged knowing malt. Sprigs of hop are well buried, fairly mid-range carbonation, finish could have been a lot worse. Nice sorbet creaminess to the finish.

Bottle, OddBins, Queensferry Street
