This has to be one of the best beers i have tried with pumpkin being used. In most pumpkin beers they fail in any taste or aroma of pumpkin but this beer you definatley get it. It makes a very good saison beer which is complimented by slight citrus, floral and grassy flavours coming from the hops. Very nice

Interesting blend of hops and saison character, with a dominance of fresh spice ester but left with a lingering fresh fruit hop finish and an amazing pumpkin presence. The body fitted a saison and texture worked strangely well with pumpkins!

Nice take on a pumpkin beer. Works well with the spicy saison yeast. Full of spice and herbal notes along with citrus and then the pumpkin flavour which i would have liked a bit more full on. Pours amber and clear with a small off white head. Tastes fairly dry and medium bitter. Nice smooth palate and lively carbonation.

Nice to see this beer slowly settling ending in a clear golden yellow with solid white foam ring, lasting to the end. The British beers can do that. Aroma is bit sour, so is taste, but on the other hand quite a bitter taste too. Surprising good beer. Shame I couldn’t drink it all as I was driving. (Swansea 201312)

On cask on a barrel run at Rake Bar. A complex, potent beer. Has a fruity aroma with pumpkin coming through. Tastes full of pumpkin, fruity and citrus followed a nice spicy flavour from the saison yeast - great pumpkin beer

On cask at West Kirk Jdw Ayr a potent beer with a complex fruity aroma pumpkin flavour grain and yeast give a full bodied beer that to some extent defies description but I overall very tasty

Cask, handpump The Penny Black, JDW Bicester, Saturday 7th December 2013 Pours warm amber with thin white head, a little soapy, I even pick up a little radox, pine maybe showing. Not sure I get the pumpkin but this is truly gorgeous stuff. Excellent beer, quite thick in mouth, bitterness really hangs in there, bit dry at end and lengthy bitterness. Very nice, not sure that it is that Saisony but it’s good nonetheless. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
