Flavoursome strong pale ale, full of grapefruit aromas.
This commanding IPA-style beer is golden in colour, with a wave of hop aromas leading to a balance of bitterness and sweetness in the flavour, plus a lasting grapefruit finish. Hops used: Chinook, Citra, Magnum, Nelson Sauvin

Pours a hazy golden with a thin almost non-existant head. Aromas of yeast, some fruit, and earthy hops. Taste has some malt floating around, and a little bit of grapefruit, but with every sip I take away a dry, metallic finish. It’s not a bad offering but not necessarily that great either.

Darker yellow with white foam head lacing to glass. Aroma is bitter hops and some citrus, taste is same, with bitter prevailing. Citrus bitter aftertaste, a good beer. (Velp 201208)

Tap. Listed at 5.6% and certainly not from cask. Rich, full and fruity. Lots of berries, grapefruit and a touch of tropical fruit. Really full - if a bit heavy handed. Well made and certainly recommended.

10,8,8,7,13,8 - 8,30 - 10/7/12

Hazy amber beer. Good white head. Dry palate, a little soft. Dry dry malt. Fairly even, perhaps a touch of caramel. Nice fruit, sweet orange with a touch of grapefruit. Finishes dry. Nice flavour but way too dry.

500ml bottle. There is a mixture of malt and melon fruit on the aroma which is pleasant enough. Beer looks strong in the glass with a deep amber colour and a sturdy cap of foam. Sits in the mouth well and finishes with a bit of a metallic edge on the palate.
