Satisfying, hoppy ale with Atlantic and New Zealand hops, and a flavour coming close to the best IPAs.

Hazy orange color, steady off-white head. Citrus, sweet fruits and yeast in the nose. Medium-bodied. Front is exotic fruity, later grapefruity bitterness and lingering hoppyness. Quite good, sweetish IPA/ESB. Robust malt profile for this ABV.

A mid amber orange-yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A powerful aroma, immediately apparent on opening the bottle. Huge citrus fruit hop, grapefruit and lemon, and a touch floral. Dry mouthfeel. A mouth filling hop taste, bitter grapefruit and lemon citrus fruit elements along with a grassy, floral flavour. There is a subtle sweetness in the background that tempers the bitterness into the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from my wife. Aromas of bread, hint of caramel. Taste is sweet, with light sour notes. Long flavour.

Subtle honey aroma, slightly floral. Light to medium Brown colour. Complex tart flavours with some fruitiness and lingering citrus. Somewhat heavy for its colour, which was lighter than expected.

Cross between an English IPA and an English Strong. Cloudy light orange appearance. Aroma more malt-forward than citrus or grapefruit. Bitterness does not start to hit until later sips, and it is somewhat more potent to start than in the finish. Somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Balanced brew with some complexity. Will not wow American hop-heads, however.

Lovely English hop aroma, really citrussy like a very fresh EKG or Fuggles, at flame-out ot later. Not lacking in pleasant sweet malts though, a good balance. Lovely in the mouth, gentle bitterness, pleasant carbonation, pleasantly full biscuity malty sweetness, smooth, and succulent. Lovely ESB taste, perfect balance, lacking nothing. So easy to drink, and really makes you want another. In some ways there’s a bit of Fullers 1845 in it, but this is hoppier. I think I might have a few more of these, and see whether I can persuade myself to bump up one of the scores, as 3.7 seems a bit of an underrate, this is an *excellent* strong bitter.

A great IPA. Gorgeous hoppy and grapefruit aromas. Pours golden and bubbly with a lasting white head. Tastes pretty bitter but with a touch of sweetness that balances perfectly. A nice smooth palate a light bodied beer. Very drinkable!
