Flavoursome strong pale ale, full of grapefruit aromas.
This commanding IPA-style beer is golden in colour, with a wave of hop aromas leading to a balance of bitterness and sweetness in the flavour, plus a lasting grapefruit finish. Hops used: Chinook, Citra, Magnum, Nelson Sauvin

Found a bottle at Bert’s at Folly Beach. Nice to switch it up from the American PA every once in awhile. Pours a hazy orange with a nose of citrus- grapefruit specifically. Mouthfeel is fizzy- higher carbonation that I like. Almost reminds me of a cider. Has a hint of that cloying malty sweetness but is rescued by the hops. Different flavors than this side of the ocean, with something tasting just a bit "off" to me. Can’t quite place the flavour. Overall refreshing and easygoing and a bit on the sweet side - not bad.

Pours hazy amber with generous head that lingers. Citrus aromas, grapefruit with some sweet malt coming through. Palate is thicker than the pour suggests. Nice lemon rind bitterness in the taste with a touch of sugar. Surprisingly rich overall considering the lowish alcohol content. You could knock a few of these back (and you’d want to) Good work from this brewer.

50cl bottle at Rock cafe, Tallinn. Pours pretty clear deep golden with a bubbly head. Hoppy and citrusy aroma with malt, caramel and hints of tropical fruits. Medium sweet, lots of grapefruit and a somewhat dry and quite bitter finish. Nice one.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and fruit, the latter being rather dominant for a beer within this style. Bitter, hoppy flavour, wi well pronounced sweetish, fruity notes. Bitter afteraste. Nice but tastes more like a DIPA without the ABV peculiar to that style.

Ottima birra di stampo inglese con Profumi floreali e fruttati e un'ottimo equilibrio al palato. Buon ipa :) ---Rated BY Italianbeer85

Bottle. Clear golden pour, frohty stable white head. Weak nose, with sweet malts. Taste is very balanced and mild, with a hint of bitterness, then a sweeter long finish. Don’t find the grapefruit very apparent, if present at all. Oily texture, medium body, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Bacchus, Crickhowell. Amber with a slight white head and plenty of carbonation. Malty aroma of caramel, apricot and citrus hop. Slightly bready flavour with more caramel, fruity hops and a long, bitter finish. Good.

(bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Citrus-fruity and slightly herbal-spicy hoppy aroma with a mildly sweet pale malty background. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Citrus-fruity (grapefruits) and also a bit exotic fruity hoppy taste with a soft pale malt-character; quite dry bitter-sweet fruity hoppy finish. Pleasant pale Ale with a hearty body. 20.IX.10
