COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
This organically crafted ale has a delightful rich bronze colour and is distinguished by a full bodied character with crystal maltiness. A lovely delicate sweetness soon develops into a long hop finish through the traditional blend of hops. Drinkers will enjoy the real traditional values of this great smooth ale. This beer is named after the Bronze Age Celts. Recent discoveries in Bavaria have shown Celtic tribes were brewing as far back as 800 BC. The name Bracis-Curmi (malted beer) traces back to the ancient Celtic language or proto-celtic, an age where Celts were some of the first beer producers in Europe.

Pours an unclear amber. Good sized rocky off-white head, good lace. Aroma is malty, herbal, floral. Flavor is initially sweet. Medium body. Finish is sort of herbal spicy hoppy, moderately dry. Toasty. Mild bitterness. Finish overstays its welcome. Not my thing. Better in gulps.

Bottle from Malt & Vine (BB 02.18.2014) Pours translucent light amber with a creamy frothy off-white head. Aroma of light toasty malt with some hop that could be floral, grassy, herb - hard to get it. Med body. Frothy carb. Starts with toasty malt, goes bitter, and the hop suggests floral and herb. Maybe a bit earthy as well. Bitter it is! Good tasting brew.

Bright clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is crisp and semi dry. Smooth and light malt with a streak of bitter toffee and a touch of malt cream. Reasonable hops - light grassy pine and bitter marmalade. Finishes dry with a bitter linger, Well joined up.

Skunked bottle. Darkish amber with small thin head, but lots of lacing. I’ll try to find another sample, as this would otherwise appear to be a good brew.
