3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Darkish orange and murky brown color with awesome off white creamy head that laces the glass in clumps of foam. Smells creamy, like mashmallows and vanilla custard with hints of coffee creamer and berries. Flavor is somewhat similar, but milder. There is an initial impression of sweet cream and marzipan, with the flavor building to notes of black tea and toffee and eventually chocolate on the finish. It has a balanced and persistent bitterness that keeps this beer from ever coming off sweet. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, like a Boddington’s pub can, gives me the impression of a milk chocolate truffle.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The color is a cloudy orangeish brown with a large off-white head, and the beer’s scent blends earthy hops, basement aromas, and caramel and light malts. The taste is mildly bitter, mildly sour, and a touch umami, and the palate fuses a slightly bitter finish, medium body, slick texture, and a soft carbonation.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Morrisons Connahs Quay. Pours a clear gold amber with a pillowy off white head. Aroma is doughy, hops and slight peppery spice. Taste is dry and bitter, caramel notes, with hops thrown in for good measure. Drinkable, but a little bit TOO dry for my taste.

No discerbable aroma. A decent, easy to drink malty ale. Nice profile of malts and hops with a smooth finish. High carbonation.

(draught) pours a hazy golden colour with a creamy off-white head. aroma of bread dough and grapes, slightly musty, with a hint of citrus fruit and black pepper. flavour is more of the same, oranges, gently roasted malts, some yeast and a light tartness in the light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Luktar gott. Bra skum. Smakar lite väl brännt. Lagom stark. Helt ok, men ingen favorit.
